called pettry plumbing to install new valve on hot water tank. this is a $200 part. the bill from pettry plumbing was $800 with labor. they gauged me. i paid them in full the next day via US MAIL. the address on their web site did not work and check came back in the mail. then things got worse, the guy from pettry sent me emails for 5 days in a row, threating to take me to court, and put a lien on my rental house, all the while i had already sent a check to him. then he called my renter and bad mouthed me over the phone when he talked to my renter. i called pettry when the check came back in the mail and offered to fed ex a replacement check, he refused, and said more threatening things over the phone. these people are crooks who overcharge everybody.
very horrible people to do business with. have owned over 100 houses and never been treated this way by any contractor in my life. do not use pettry.

Downloaded yelp just to say this company is amazing. We've had so many problems with our heating unit since March and no one else has taken the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem. Within two hours this dude figured it out and fixed it. Most professional company we had dealt with also. He even told us how to fix a problem with our sink we've been having since we moved in when he wasn't here for that at all just noticed it when he was washing his hands. All around nice guy great service knows what he's doing

Competent, courteous, communicative and most importantly, effective. Pettry Plumbing fixed our water problem promptly and efficiently at a good price. Plus, he talked me through re-setting the pilot light on the hot water heater over the phone. I owe him and will settle up when he comes to fix our aging A/C system again.

Crew very unprofessional and can't control his temper also borderline racist. Came to the restaurant that my friends and I was eating at. He was yelling and ranting and saying something like ""This is not India, this is not China, this is United States"". Looks like the conversation was a misunderstanding on both party, but he was so obnoxious with his voice that is getting louder and louder and not wanting to hear the explanation of the owner of the restaurant. Stay away from this business unless you like being treated like a trash and being disrespected. Clearly customer is not important for them. Does not recommend.

Great customer service, very fast, beyond fair . I really can't say enough these guys! They saved me on a 12 degree night!

These guys were quick to diagnose our issue with our AC unit and fix the problem. Explained to me what the issue was in words I could understand, and they were relatively affordable. 10/10 would recommend for AC issues.

He is consistently on time, and reliable.
He has remodeled bathrooms, and done a multitude of service work.
Invoicing is correct, and he charges a very fair price.

Absolutely the most rude people I've ever had to deal with. I have a home owners warranty and filed a claim for a shower issue. Without hearing back from the warranty company, I get a call from this company (some number from Florida) claiming the warranty company is not going to pay the full amount and they're going to need me to pay extra money to them that isn't covered. Mind you, I haven't heard anything back from the warranty company, so I'm skeptical and tell the guy I'm going to need to speak to the warranty company. The guy sounded put out by this news which made me even more skeptical. After hearing back from the warranty company that the additional charges are accurate I call them back to approve scheduling of the work and explained my reason for being hesitant initially and to invoice me once the work is complete. I get a call from the ""CEO"" explaining that I'll need to pay them up front to go do the work. I told him I thought that was unorthodox and would prefer to be invoiced once the work is complete. He became irritated and stated that they're busy and don't really need my business and could care less if I moved forward with the work or not. The guy was extremely rude. Do business with caution.
**Edit: I called the tenant and they verified they did not pay the $65 service fee, maybe the property manager did. I would never ask my tenant to do that and the warranty company knows it. This just further leads me to wonder how honest your charging practices are. I've worked out the situation with my warranty company and have another plumbing business lined up to take care of my home. They were very nice over the phone and were easy to do business with.

This company is straight out lying about there comment Our unit had always ran perfect until I was weeding around unit and cut a wire , I even told the repair guy what I did so he would know the problem . He added all this other crap on a perfectly good unit that had been serviced every year for preventive maintenance. This guy is a crook and took advantage of us as customers .
Another lie . It wasn't a weed waker , I was pulling out grass by hand and pulled a wire out of unit buried in grass . I wasn't sure where wire went to and did not want to damage unit . I'm sorry I ever got involved with your shady business practices . You should go into politics
