Called about a water heater issue. Plumber came. Looked at the water heater said it was leaking a bit and to call Lowes were the water heater was from. And refused to do anything and left. Then sent me a 75 dollar bill for nothing. Been a Petroski customer for over 30 years. On multiple houses and jobs. No longer! Stay clear of Crooks who want to get paid for nothing.

Had them here 2 times for the same problem my sink was leaking they took my good drains put cheap ones in and said they would replumb the pipe work they brought 3 people to do a 1 man job and none of them knew what they where doing well they also put my older toilet back in because the new one was to high for me they said they needed to reduce the insides and took out my good parts and put in cheap garbage now my toilet blocks all the time I looked up online and it said the insides did not need replacing, now back to my kitchen sink it leaks and my kitchen floor was ruined we had to tear it up due to the water leak they were paid 65900 dollars for nothing all they did was ruin our toilet and Iam left with a leaking sink and needing a kitchen floor, the second time they came the sink is still leaking I had also asked them originally to see why I was getting a sewer smell back in my house and dog sink they said I needed a trap on the dog sink and it was from not using our master bath and it was dry drain so WE began running the water in the master bath and that cleared the sewer smell upstairs but we still have a sewer smell in the dog sink downstairs so they put a little trap on the sink they were going to replumb it but did not bother well we still have the sewer smell when we use the dog sink. Then petroski had the nerve to send me a second bill for the clowns he sent that did not fix any of my issues then he calls me and tells me it's my water that stinks and he is going to take me to court because I did not pay him for a second bill of 759.00 no I did not pay him for the second trip to fix what he was suppose to fix the 1st time now I don't want you to be a laughing stock because you said my water stinks but it only stinks in one sink in the house and not the rest of my water supply has no smell think before you open your mouth and insert a foot if this was the last plumber on the face of planet earth I would fix it myself and do a better job a 64 year old women is as stupid as you are look elsewhere if you need a p.ummber you don't want this ittyit.

Over charge for MULTIPLE trips back to the shop for supplies. Once is OK, not three times- each one billed.

We had a bathtub faucet leaking for quite some time. I unfortunately called a different plumbing company who came out, charged me $1200 and the problem came back about a week later. I called Petroski and they came and fixed the bathtub, plus did some additional work, and the price was much less than what the first place charged me. Jerry was absolutely great, professional, work done very neatly, and everything works great. Glad we have a plumbing company in the Wilkes Barre area like this because they really are dependable, affordable, and professional!!

Called on a Wednesday around lunch time and let the lady know our hot water heater was leaking. She said they were booked that day but can come the next day. No problem I was at work and couldn't leave. They called at 7:50 am and said they were on their way. 8 am they were there and had a new one installed in just over an hour. Very nice men, explained what was wrong and how to correct the problem. Answered my questions, wore masks and social distanced.

I am so pleased with the work that Petroski Plumbing has done for me! I am a single homeowner and rarely can I fix plumbing issues by myself. They schedule you as soon as possible and are very nice to deal with, and explain in full what they are doing and why. I had a small room in my first floor renovated into a bathroom and it is EXCELLENT! I love the way it turned out and the guys even helped make some recommendations on the décor which I love! I know I will get reliable, timely service and they're the only ones I will call to fix any issues I have.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! A $600 estimate turned into a $1600 bill in the mail (not at time of service). Mostly for hours billed that weren't worked. The final bill claimed 5 1/2 hrs. but they were only here 1 1/2 hrs. Billed for his and apprentice hrs. when the apprentice was the only one working. We disputed the bill. Now I start to have problems with the kitchen faucet, the apprentice replaced (brand new) only to find out it was installed backwards with the diverter hole facing, not the faucet, but the backsplash. All in all they replaced the faucet and hot and cold flex lines (albeit completely backwards) replaced the washing machine shut off valve (which they had on hand) and capped an existing gas line. I would never call them again... Such substandard work from a ""Master Plumber"", (who doesn't even supervise his apprentice, to see if he's learning his trade) is unacceptable!
