We pulled permits to remodel our Condo in Cocoa Beach identifying Petro as Plumber of choice to install new shower valve, move vanity water to another wall, and raise the hot/cold feed lines to kitchen. Plus all bathroom/kitchen drain/vent lines. We raised ceiling and had to raise the copper feed lines to kitchen. Monday the new 90 degree elbow was not properly sweat fitted so it leaked noticeably. After shutting off main feed to our stack it took hours before they got a seal (I understand once water in line tough to drain and get solder to work). Tuesday I noticed water seeping on the bathroom floor and hallway. We had a micro leak at elbow. They came out and confirmed elbow leaking. Wednesday, after shutting off water to 4 condo units, several hours later they finally got a good seal. After tiling shower, I called for trimout (installation of fixtures). The facia plate to valve did not fit because valve was protruding 1"""" outside of tile. Only solution was to cut 12""""x15"""" of newly installed tile out so plumber could put in thinner valve. The next day I had a different plumbing company come out to quote my other bathroom, as I was not going to use Petro. The new plumber said, """"You have a micro drip leak on the hot water feed into the valve, it appears that they used teplon tape instead of brush on stuff that doesn't react to heating up pipe when sweat fitting valve"""". No other plumber would fix the job since Petro was on the permit. While they were putting in my shower head pipe they scratched my glass tiled ceiling. Also they put shower head pipe too high which means my square escutcheon had to be cut like a horseshoe as it could not be mounted on shower arm and turned without scratching glass tile. I spent over $1000 for new valve, tile work and general contractor problem solving. They billed me $950 for trimout. We called it even :(. Lastly, they kept calling and emailing me wanting $400 for shower pan installation that we paid same day, check deposited next day. We emailed copies of deposited check front and back TWICE. This went on for 3 weeks!!! Terrible experience, Avoid, Terrible experience, Avoid!! Todd, Cocoa Beach

We had a back up in our main line. We called this company to come out on Sunday they talk to us into coming out Monday morning for a little bit less. The guys were pretty thorough and clear the line pretty quick. Asked about camera services. Their price was absolutely ridiculous. Not even three days later the line backed up again the company stated that they only warrantee a mainline cleaning for 48 hours, which is pretty ridiculous in my opinion, long story short they charged us another $375 to clear the exact same problem that we've had. Luckily we have not had that issue sense will never use them again.

Shaun was great. My house is out of his area so he suggested several other local companies for me though he hadn't ever heard of yelp he gave me about 5 phone numbers to work with so I wouldn't have to pay extra travel time. Nice people are who you want to support with your voting dollars. Ask for Shaun.

We had a gas water go on a blink. Called Petro Plumbing and they did arrive as promised. Plumber said that there are some metal shavings inside mechanism and control valve and burner assembly need to be replaced. Water heater is 4 years old. But they were willing to give us a new water heater for $1,100. Called city gas. They sent a little girl to change the gas meter and she looked at the water heater. The valve that regulates gas flow was installed backwards so no gas could go thru. As it had worked fine for 4 years this was a problem created by Petro Plumbing. City Gas girl flipped gas valve around and water heater started working just fine. 10 points to City Gas Girl. She saved us from Petro Plumbing.

They truly do not respect their customers!!! 1- late with no call (2 hours). I had to call them to make sure they were still coming. 2- They have poor communication with each other so if you order an extra item (that they ask you if you want over the phone) the Tech that comes to your house will know nothing about it and give you an attitude about it when you ask for it. 3- The owner stopped by and walked right past me to talk to his tech. I literally had to ask him who he was, after which he blew me off by turning his back to me and started talking to his tech again! 4- They had no clue about the social distancing going on currently in THE ENTIRE COUNTRY AND WORLD and repeatedly violated it. Uh COVID-19 anyone? 5- The tech opened my house door like he lived there to the point I had to lock it. 6- Three (3) different prices were given to me and the tech had to ask what I was quoted over the phone!! 7- While tech was on the phone with the owner and owner found out I was mad the tech tried to hand me his phone to talk to him! Umm hello!! Coronavirus!!! 8- owner came back to house and proceeded to walk right by me a second time when I went out to talk to him Are you kidding me!!??!! 9- I went thru a laundry list of issues above with owner who did nothing but talk over me with excuses. 10- Owner proceeded to read my credit card number loudly on speaker in my driveway until I stopped him. Hello! My neighbors don't need my credit card info thanks! 11- When I called office to read her the credit card number she picked up the line unknowingly while making fun of what I told the tech and owner about social distancing!! Are you kidding!?!? All total, $850 and 6 hours to install a water heater! The most Incompetent, disrespectful, socially inept, unaware business and they'll be thankful for the few reviews that I don't actually post!!!

I needed a backed up drain cleared. Not the most complex of jobs. When the men arrived, and before they even looked at the job, they quoted a price that was $50 higher than the price quoted on the phone They went up on the roof and snaked something, I'm not sure what (see below) and left, all in about 20 minutes For about 6 days there was no back-up. Then it started backing up again on a SaturdayI called and got the answering service (they're not available in the office on weekends) who contacted the technician who called back and told me that """"although they only guarantee their work for FIVE DAYS (emphasis, mine)"""" they'd come out on Monday and """"MIGHT not charge for it"""" By monday I thought better of it and canceled them and called another plumber. He came out and spent over an hour snaking out huge amounts of grease that were left untouched by the Petro guys And he charged less And he gave us a compound to pour down the drain to keep it clean DO NO USE HESE PEOPLE!!!

Contacted Petro due to an under slab leak and slow water drain in the kitchen. They diagnosed the real problem with the slow leak (whereas other plumbers could not) and referred me to Leak Dr to have slab leak expertly found. This saved time and money in the end. Leak was pinpointed, called Petro back as Leak Dr left my house. Petro was here in under an hour. Completed serious repair in less than 3 hours (had to cut through the terrazzo) and left no mess. Professional, polite, efficient and VERY reasonable. Can't say enough. I assumed I would have to deal with turning the water off in the house over the next 24 hours or so and am so relieved that they not only came right away, but I can put the kids to bed tonight knowing the problem is fixed. Thanks to Eli, Jack, and Justin and the kind woman who answers their calls.

It's too bad I couldn't give zero stars because that's exactly what I would do. We had an appointment from 12 to 2 PM -the communicated expected arrival time frame. The two plumbers who came to service the job 1. Russell and 2. Juan were each; sloppy, dirty, messy and failed to apologize at all for their considerable and unfortunate delay. These two did a rush job, seemed too clueless to be professional and very amateur in communication and presentation. Juan decided he was comfortable enough to call me , """"honey."""" He was corrected. Juan's calling me me this was entirely inappropriate, weird, unprofessional and creepy. My landlord is responsible for the repair. Without the proper fact checking of account notes like a professional does; Russell tried unsuccessfully to stick me with the bill and paperwork when it is my landlords responsibility which, I have documentation about- and so does his employer, Petro. This was a very bad experience after a long and drawn out delay of their arrival. This company has bad field representation. I know better plumbers exist. The only *good thing I could say is their female phone receptionist was nice and tried to be as helpful to me over the phone.

I have used their service twice for replacing a sewer line and repairing a water line leak. Very happy with their quick response and professional and reasonable service. I highly recommend them.
