After dealing with the worst company in America, Amerigas, this company was 1 million times better with the level of service and communication. Maybe I'm skewed because Amerigas was so bad but either way I would highly recommend Petro petroleum over Amerigas to anybody

They came and removed my tank because I bought my own with 40% propane left in it shut my heat,stove and hot water off without notice while we have a 1 yo at home came while we were at work than wouldn't do anything to help correct the issue. Having to wait 3 days for the new tank to be filled now. Absolute worst customer service I've ever recieved. I've always had Penn jersey and I will be going be going back to them was the reason I bought a tank.

An absolutely fantastic company. We were Petro customers for about 10 years or more and never had any problems. We had an older system with some issues, but whenever we needed a technician to come out, Petro was there every time, including late on Christmas eve one year. Everybody we ever dealt with was nothing but professional and courteous, and the service we received was second to none. Thank you Petro!

I have been using Petro for more than 30 years. The service is excellent. The company has always been responsive whenever we had a problem and we have always had timely delivery of heating oil and propane. Today, Phil Obermeyer (#259) was at our house to do a tuneup on our furnace. This is not the first time Phil has been at our house. He is friendly and professional. I know that when Phil shows up, we are in great hands.

I had been working very long time with this company always great service I received until tonight all I want to do make a payment over the phone (which I usually do every month not more than 5 minutes)always kind and caring people. He answered the phone like why you bother the call without listening to me put me on hold than kept saying I any help call Monday did cut me off severa times and I asked him to speak to another customer service representative he basically hang up then I called back he said we discontinued and other person answered kept saying he is trying to do his best and only working there 2 months but he is the supervisor he could bring my account kept saying wrong amount for my monthly payment and kept saying call Monday . Maybe I should just call and end my business.Please don't hire people who doesn't want to their job I don't pay this company to be treated bad

I have mixed reviews about Petro. We signed up for the budget plan, however Petro continues to forget to automatic bill us each month, and we end up getting charged for 2 months in one shot. We will not be doing the budget plan next year, as we have used about half the oil we have already paid for.

On the other hand, we had an issue with the furnace last night and there was someone at our house within 20 minutes and it was fixed right on the spot luckily. If they keep up the customer service we will be happy.
