Marty is ""our plumber"" meaning he's the only one we call whenever something needs work. He not only does standard issue repair and installation but can figure things out that aren't in the manual. Most recently he fixed a very pricey kitchen faucet that had gotten damaged somehow. To replace it would have meant opening up a can of worms. Fortunately I saved the parts and he put it back together using his own plumber engineering. He's a nice person as well, and when you call for help you can be sure he's the guy who will show up to do the job.

He does not stand behind his work. No warranty.

Called him initially to fix faucet issues. He responded the next day. Paid him immediately since we though all was resolved.

Discovered a few days later that he used an incorrectly sized sink stopper. He called back with ""an attitude"", one time. He did not return three subsequent calls .

He does not honor an implied warranty neither for labor or parts.
On principal we will take further action.

Marty has done jobs for me at least ten times. He is always prompt and very
Knowledgable. He has always been friendly and I would refer him to anyone. Very very good service and fast. Replaced toilet water parts,cleaned out drains, and also repaired some old pipes. Great guy.

Petrini fixed a clogged sewer line the same day that we discovered it. These things always seem to happen on weekends and we were lucky to get it fixed just before Christmas. He was very prompt and friendly and very reasonably priced. We will use his services again whenever we have a plumbing problem. Petrini and Sons was recommended by our neighbor since they also got the same good service from them.

This seems to be a one man outfit who i have used about 4 or 5 times over last 10 years with okay service and prices even though sometime a little hard to get along with. however last week called on a friday night when water heater went out.. was without hot water all weekend. called PGE who came and said problem was most likely a thermocouple... relayed that info to plumber when he returned my call on following Monday..heho . came over later in day was there about 10 minutes charged ( 100 for the call $20 for the part) ) and left...(reasonable price if problem had been fixed..but ..two days later water heater went out again. i called water heater manufacturer told him thermocouple had been replace and he said that the entire piolet assembly should have been replaced. Called the plumber back told him what the manufacturer had told me...said i would pay for the new part and suggested he not charge the labor..and come back and fix it...he said he had not replaced the wrong part..had got my hot water back on and since i knew so much i could fix it myself..and hung up......found another plumber Romans plumbing of novato....came by after getting the right part...pleasant guy...analyzed the problem BEFORE he put the part in the manufacturer had recommended . took him about 45 minutes....everything okay now. Obviously wont use petrini plumbing again.
