Service was prompt and courteous. Pricing is a bit on the high side, but there are no hidden fees. The person who scheduled the appointment gave the upfront dispatch fee. I hope I don't need a plumber again anytime soon, but I wouldn't hesitate to call Peterson again if I did.

Got an estimate for boiler of $13,000 which they reduced to $11,000. Outrageous!! Ended up with another company that replaced boiler and water heater for about $6,000. I really don't understand how a company can do this sort of thing and stay in business. I don't blame the salesman... just the company.

I recently moved to Grand Junction and believe that this information about Peterson Plumbing & Heating needs to be exposed (especially to our aged residents as they are being fraudulently abused by this company). I have tried to give the owner an opportunity to hear my complaint before I reach out to local media's and related regulatory agencies, but have not received a call back, therefore please see below.
Grand Junction and Mesa County residents need to read this review. I received an estimate for repair of my home residence AC in the amount of $2,500 from John (a tech from Peterson Plumbing and Heating). I have owned several homes in my past, and as such, have needed repair of my AC units. Thus, I was astonished by this price of $2,500. Prudently, I called another heating and air company here in Grand Junction, CO. Their price was only $260 dollars (this price point difference is extreme and grossly unethical). Peterson Plumbing and Heating has unethical pricing tactics and has other fraudulent strategies. Residents of Mesa County and Grand Junction, Peterson Plumbing & Heating they have fraudulent pricing tactics.

I am more than outraged after my unfortunate experience with this business. This plumber said that couldn't push anything through the pipes and that there was a damaged cable then quoted me $2,800 a day to fix and that it could take a day and a half then charged me $199.00 to tell me that. Lucky for second opinions Countryside Plumbing had my problem fixed in 5min $98.00. I have been trying to reach Peterson Plumbing with my complaint and I have left messages and so far no call back.

Prompt free estimate on a saturday which was nice but that's about all that was nice. Technician obviously didn't know what he was talking about and handed me an estimate that was about 7 times more expensive than it needed to be. Go else where for your plumbing needs unless you're absolutely up against the wall with no where else to turn. I can almost guarantee you will be ripped off and while I have not seen their work I have the feeling it's probably a gamble as to the quality.

Be very careful trusting them implicitly! They have been servicing my plumbing needs for 6 years. I trusted them until last week.

During a routine maintenance check, I was told that my currently running air conditioner (11 years old) needed several parts replaced (capacitor, fan motor, compressor) and the coil needed cleaning. Total parts and labor was $3238.00. I mentioned that the furnace blower was humming and was told that it also needed to be replaced for an additional $537.00. Since these quotes were so high, I was actually considering replacing everything, thinking it might be cheaper.

Instead, I got a second opinion. This professional told me there was nothing wrong with my air conditioner. I mentioned the quote to replace several parts and he indicated there was no need. I asked about the dirty coils. He said he cleaned them. I mentioned the humming blower in the furnace and he said it was a misalignment and fixed it in 5 minutes. He charged me $65.00 total!

I had always heard from others that Peterson was expensive, but had no idea until I experienced it myself.

Can you give ZERO stars? They seem like they are nice and will help you out, but they are a RIP OFF. They will completely overcharge you and tell you that your equipment is breaking. Don't get suckered in by them.

AC in our office went out and scheduled them to come out 1 week later so we waited and sweated and the day they were suppose to show they call with a lame excuse and want to reschedule 1 more week! what a horrible waste of time. i should have read all these other bad reveiws and called anyone else. how do they stay in business?

This company is a terrible one to do business with. They high-ball offers on work, any work they do is going to be overcharged. If you don't have them do the job they still ask for $100 to come give you a ridiculous figure, if they do the work, well, they're taking advantage of you. Relies on advertising to lure in a lot of people to run this poor business practice on. This company is either for fools, or people who don't care about their money.

Roger did a great job fixing our problems. He gave us quick response and quality work. Peterson seems a bit pricey but they respond fast and get the job done. I guess you get what you pay for...
