Be VERY careful with this company. Hot spell (105 degrees F), only company which had opening in schedule for next 4 days. Made mistake only checking CoC reviews, which since realize appears only post good reviews. In a bind with Split Heat Pump system not providing cooling. Indoor fan within fan coil unit operating but air from inside register ~ 80 degrees F. Had electronics cover on outside condenser unit ""electronics"" off and visibly see the capacitor had failed (black and bulging). Service tech wanted to first check refrigerant level and some other settings which in hindsight resulted in helping to get to full hour of ""Diagnostic Per Hour"" fee. Finally, agreed most likely bad capacitor. Checked truck and had replacement from mid to lower priced aftermarket brand. Replacement labor + part totaled some $270. Questioned price for part + labor and informed this what cost. Since could not find anyone else consented to price gouging service. After left removed cover obtain capacitor Mfg & model...could buy from several Internet supply companies for ~ $43 + avg. $6.99 shipping. Removal + install took about 10-15 minutes. Oh, by the way, also charge $25 ""Dispatch Fee"". You have been warned.

Dishonest people, very shady, wanted them to fix my furnace but instead, he told me I needed a new one and it was over 9k. After a little research, I fixed it for 14 bucks. When I told my story to a friend of mine, he had a very similar story from last year and it turned out to be the same people. The owner has refused to refund my money for his so called ""expert advice"" Never again will they get my business.

Way too expensive. Check around. There are many more companies out there that will do the work and do it well for a lot less. $80 just for an estimate.

100% recommend- excellent. I live in Fruita CO and have hired Peterson Plumbing to fix 3 issues at my home, on 2 different service calls. I have no complaints, and our technician John was really awesome. Yes it cost a lot, but hey: good luck to you finding any plumber in town as good as this- with excellent customer service as well! Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Our A/C condenser unit quit running on a very hot day. We called Peterson after working hours on a Wednesday. They returned our call the next morning at 7:30 and had a technician at our house by 9:00 a.m. The technician quickly diagnosed and verified the problem was a failed capacitor. By 11:00 a.m. the tech had located a replacement capacitor and had the unit up and cooling.
I've relied on Peterson for 10 years to perform routine maintenance and service, replace a freeze damaged copper fitting and reroute a water line in our crawl space.
Peterson did discontinue their after hours call out due to COVID. I liked their 24/7 call out because leaks, HVAC and other systems seem not to fail during normal business hours.
I appreciate Peterson and recommend their services.

Can I get a negative star button? I called Thursday looking for a simple HVAC inspection in Montrose which they said they had no trouble servicing. I inquired about pricing & was told 129 EACH system and they would not charge the 59.99$ dispatch fee. I was given a 12-2pm window on Monday.

Raymon the tech calls at 12:34 pm already inside the appointment window to let me know he needs to "" cancel or reschedule"" according to his voicemail. He's stuck in Fruita & cannot arrive in Montrose until 2:30. Ok. Unprofessional and inconvenient since there are 2 households and 2 real estate agents involved in moving the time window but ok... life happens. I communicate exactly what I need again since clearly they are not super organized. The tech says to email him my info and he will call for payment when he's done with the job. I text the tech my email and my phone rings again. It's the office. The tech had called to let them know I'm "" requesting more items be done"". And payment must be received in the next 15 minutes or they won't show up?! Ummm okay Robin, the most rude owner I've ever spoken to. No wonder you have a 4.2 rating. You interrupted me 3 times to tell me what I hadn't scheduled. I'm aware of what I scheduled. Listen to the calls, I'm sure you record and realize your dead wrong. I scheduled both services and tried to pay.

My mind is complete blown at what an unorganized, incompetent hot mess this place is. I also love that you Robin threatened to sue to me leaving a review. Classy business owner. You argue with your customer, interrupt them and maybe if you ran a better business you could afford to pay someone with some customer service skills to answer the phone for you.

Needed my main line snaked but Tim would not snake it from outside where I asked him to. He had to do it from the bathroom. I think he did that so he could charge me extra. Then as he was putting the toilet back he broke a part of my toilet and he wanted to charge me to fix it.

Peterson plumbing and Heating were wonderful. Always up front and clear on the repairs. Went out of their way to help my mother-in-law when the other company she was contracted with said they couldn't come out for two weeks! No heat for an elderly woman in the winter is a bad thing. I highly recommend Peterson!

This is the most disreputable company I have ever come across in many years. They tried to over charge us by thousands, unfortunately for the guy that they sent to estimate cost did not know we knew and had engineering degrees. Do not trust them have other estimates.

I called these people a few years ago, I wanted a new kitchen sink I had bought installed. The told me they went by their flat rate book price for installations and it would be $600. I know enough to know that it would take less that 2 hours for a job like this. I then called Double Diamond plumbing and they told me at that time they were $85 an hour rate and would just charge by the hour. Took them about an hour and a half. Charge was about $130. You make your own choice on this company but if uve got lots of money to throw away,, this is your place!
