Excellent service!! A tech was at my home within 40 minutes of me calling and fixed the issue quickly. Their prices are very reasonable. Will definitely call them again if needed.

I rarely give bad reviews but the service I got from Peterson was so poor I feel I should help others avoid making the same mistake I did.
I had a simple zone valve that needed to be replaced on an old furnace - Peterson was prompt and came out to the house but immediately started listing other things that needed to be done - to the amount of over $2,500. I felt this was suspicious so I got a second opinion. The zone valve that Peterson quoted at $440 was $130 from the other company.
Enough said.

Roger was professional and knowledgeable. He explained what he was repairing and why. He also offered helpful tips for preventing future problems.

Ken was extremely professional. Did a great job of repairing the problem. I would highly recommend Peterson Plumbing and Ken.

I called Peterson Plumbing today to replace a valve ending for the refrigerator water line. I knew that the old one would need to be soldered off and a new ¼ turn valve installed. Peterson Plumbing dispatch would not provide a quote over the phone but I figured that on the high-end the price would be around $100. After arriving at my house, the plumber spent a good 10 minutes trying to sell me their monthly, unrelated service for $24.95 before looking at the project at hand. After looking at the pipe with a valve, the plumber went out to the truck to write out a quote. About 45 minutes after his first entry to the house he came back and handed me the quote that looked like an essay. I asked how long would it take him to do solder on the new end for a threaded valve and he told me that about an hour to a one hour and a half. The quote was for $443. I rejected the work and paid $49 ""dispatch fee."" Peterson Plumbing could've easily told me the price range on the phone but I suspect that they didn't so that they could collect at least the dispatch fee. I felt completely ripped off. I would never call Peterson Plumbing again.

After an estimate of over $2,500 given by the Peterson's tech( for various maintenance related issues with my AC) and a $900+ estimate to fix a miniscule leak from shower drain into crawlspace, I had him clean our furnace AC components ONLY. Got all the rest including previously estimated $900 dollar leak all done for $200 by another HVAC professional (one that my wife's dad knew). It took him 3 hours for everything. That leak? I was told by Peterson it would be ""intensive"". It took 30 minutes, a $5 tube of silicone, and $10 gasket from Ace Hardware. My new friend that did my work has 20+ years in HVAC and when I showed him my "" estimate sheet"", he was upset I had Peterson's clean my furnace. It was over $300 and he said I got ripped. It's been two weeks, and no more leak, AC cold, and I saved a ton by simply asking around. I also highly recommend getting on YouTube. I was able to do most seasonal maintenance myself..
For free.Peterson is about getting every penny they can. SHOP AROUND. I do not recommend Peterson.

The service person was very nice and prompt. If we would have agreed to the ridiculously over priced quote for the repair ($569 for one hour of labor and a $90 part) I am sure he would have fixed the problem. But let's look at the math. With a 100% mark up on the part - $180 and let's say $100 for business expense, are plumbers making $289 an hour? Oh, but they did offer a 15% discount if we signed up for a membership. , Generous. Scam. They are confident in their business model and unapologetic about their rates. Please don't let them take advantage of you, look elsewhere.
UPDATE - we found the part locally for $80, watched the youtube video and fixed it ourselves in 20 minutes.

Way over priced after I had time to compare with other local plumbers on replacing a water heater. Very unhappy about the price we were charged: $2200. I will never use Peterson again!
And I plan on writing the BBB about their extremely high price. I feel incredibly stupid for not taking the time out of my work day to research and compare prices; I naively trusted them, and, being a new home owner and a school teacher preoccupied with final grading, I guess it's my own stupid fault for agreeing to let them replace my water heater. Expensive lesson learned. Do you research first!

Very dishonest company. They will tell you stuff is about to break that's almost brand new. These people take advantage of the elderly.

Do Not Use them! The technician cut a wire in my pump so I needed to replace it. My husband was over seas. He absolutely took advantage of my situation. The General Manager admitted this was suspicious. He offered to reimburse us for the part. He never did. Do not use them. They are dishonest overpriced company.
