I used Yelp and called a 5 star plumber who said he could't fix my upgrade Kohler when he came to my home. I went to where I bought it and they mentioned Peterson Plumbing. That was the best call for maintenance I've made in many years. On the first call, David knew exactly what type of plumbing I had and instead of me paying $65 for the part, referred me to Kohler who sent it to me free under their lifetime warrantee policy. Dave not only fixed my problem on his first visit but also a couple on my to-do list. He is new to the area but not to plumbing. He is a Master Plummer with more training and skills than anyone I've used in the past 5 years. I would recommend him to anyone who wants someone who is really a ""pro"" and not just a plumber.
LOVE these guys! Clean cut, and professional. Dave explained everything he found and fixed in a way anyone could understand. No games! They seem to have every plumbing tool you could ever need. No ""sorry I can't do that today I don't have the tools"" from these guys! They respected my place as if it was their own. The only reason I knew they were here was because EVERYTHING WAS FIXED AND WORKING!!!! No mess. I would recommend Peterson Plumbing to ANYONE with plumbing needs. Thanks Dave!
Best most honest plumber I have ever used. Dave is a true craftsman and knows his art. He carefully explains your problems to you and gives you all your options. He also refuses to use sub par materials. Bottom line you can't find a better plumber for your home.
Peterson Plumbing is the best! We've used them several times and they are courteous, prompt, and professional. Most recently, we called because our garbage disposal was stopped up, and Dave walked us through how we could possibly fix it ourselves. Sure enough, we were able to do it! Dave is friendly and helpful! Some problems aren't that easily solved and we will ALWAYS use this plumbing service, They are the best.
Run, do not walk from Peterson Plumbing!!!!!!!! Dealing with the owner Dave was a nightmare. He thinks of himself as a emergency service only. Forget anything about respect and courtesy.
There are a lot of other very qualified plumbers out there and in all of my years of being a homeowner, I have never encountered anyone as rude as Dave!!!!
When my wife and I moved into our house 18 months ago, there was an electric range. My wife prefers gas. The house was set up for both, so when we found a nice Bosch gas range at 1/2 price, the conversion should have been easy. I called Peterson Plumbing because he is local. The conversion wasn't easy - anything that might have gone wrong did go wrong. Dave Peterson spent four hours here on a Tuesday and could not complete the task. He was back with an assistant on Thursday for another 1 1/2 hours before everything worked. At the end, he gave me a bill for $165, including parts. I said to him, ""Are you sure that's enough? You guys put quite a few hours into this project!"" He replied, ""Well, there's usually a $60 service fee, but I waived that because you're a neighbor. Besides, it was partly my fault."" I gratefully paid the $165, and Peterson Plumbing has a customer for life.
I have used them on a number of projects at my house and recommend them to friends and family. They are great! Always professional, courteous and reliable. It is nice to know there are good service people out there.
I scheduled an appointment with Peterson Plumbing based on a recommendation from The Plumbery in Dublin. They never showed up, and did not make a courtesy call to notify me of a conflict. I would expect better from a company that bills itself as providing ""Personal, Friendly Service"".
Stephen C.Peterson Plumbing was referred to us by the store from whom we bought our kitchen and bathroom fixtures during a remodel in 2000. By 2014, some maintenance was needed by many of the fixtures, e.g. leaky faucets, leaky diverter valves, etc., and we needed a new water softener. Stuart Dennis, the nephew of the owner (it is truly a family business), came out to give us a quote. He gave us a specific quote for each item that needed repair and when the job was done that is exactly what the charge was. The work was of good quality and on time, and they did a nice job of cleanup afterwards.
I want to add that the quality of the work they did was not only good, but in one case, it was quite creative. The water main into the house and the pressure regulator were hidden behind sheetrock in the garage. The water main wasn't working and I wanted them to add an isolation valve to the line to the garden. Stuart opened the sheetrock up carefully, minimizing damage to the wall, and replumbed the copper, relocating the pressure regulator so that once the sheetrock is closed up again, the pressure regulator, isolation and bypass valves to the house, garden sprinklers and the water softener will be accessible outside the sheetrock. It's a nice piece of copper sculpture, in my opinion; very neat, compact and tidy. Well done!
I would definitely use them again.
I needed a stubborn toilet cleared out, and a (separate) new toilet installed. Peterson was one of the shops recommended by my local hardware store. Dave sent out two fellows (originally from Michigan) who did a fine job. They noticed a blemish on the new toilet and returned it for a pristine one, cleared the drain, installed the new porcelain throne and took my credit card for payment. They were prompt, careful but quick, friendly and respectful. I'd use them again on future projects.
