It was the worst services I have ever had. James gave me a quote of $275, but charged me $352 at last without doing extra work. I agreed to use a box for sprinkler valve, but the one he chose was too big, and he said I wasted his money. It was so unreasonable for he could return the box to the store for a full refund. He didn't do an insultion for the pipe for the drinking water in front of my house. The pvc pipe would be exposed to UV and cause harm to drinking water and degrade year by year. He replaced my brass valve with a cheaper plastic one, but insisted he used heavy duty materials. I sent him message that I wasn't happy with his work and needed insulation, but he said I was racist and refused to come back. If you want a professional friendly plumber, do not go to him.

Taylor responded to my call immediately. He was very effective and timely in getting the job done. He clearly knows what he is doing. He does all the plumbing himself...he doesn't farm it out to others. He is expensive but well well worth it. I will always head in his direction the next time I have a plumbing issue. MH

I am so glad we found a recommendation for Peterson Plumbing Co. on our local NextDoor site! We called Dave because we had a bit of an emergency with a water pipe that sprung a leak. Dave came out right away on a Saturday. He found the leak quickly and made the necessary repairs. He actually made it better because he added a shut off for this particular water line. His service was fast and professional. We are planning on asking him back soon to replace some old faucets, etc. We used to call the big companies that spend big $$ on advertising but never again! Highly recommend David Peterson for any of your plumbing needs for many reasons. He is very experienced and knows his trade. He is honest and patient with explanations. His price was very reasonable.

We got Peterson Plumbing referral from a friend after having another plumber and the city out to our house to address a main line clog of tree roots. David Peterson went about solving our problem, trying many different approaches and techniques until he solved the issue. David worked at the roots and would show us updates with the scope camera and keep us well informed. He worked for a long time yesterday and said he would need to return with bigger equipment. He would not take any money he said until this job was done.

David called first thing this morning and returned with more equipment. He worked for hours until we were all satisfied with what we saw on the camera. He had significantly removed a large root mass causing our problem. He then went on to do some other repairs in a shower.

David's experience in his trade and his customer service is what makes me highly recommend this business. He was more focused on completing the job and making sure things were ok. The first plumber was young but more focused on how much he would charge for each thing he would do and he left knowing the problem was not fixed.

David Peterson's prices were way more reasonable and we got superior skills and service.

Recommended by our happy next door neighbor, Dave and Chris both offered their expertise and advice on a water heater leak. Besides doing an excellent job on the water heater replacement, Chris noticed a couple of leaking valves during the job and took care of their replacements as well. He's patient and courteous in explaining the issues, offered good insights and advice. Highly recommended.

We've used Peterson to replace the all toilets in out house. Chris was the plumber that did the work and he was terrific! Very nice and professional. He did a great job and was very careful and respectful of keeping things clean. We have newly installed carpets and Chris was great about keeping them spotless. Chris is the main plumber for Peterson and he's a hard working young family man. He lives all the way out in Tracy, but works all over the East Bay, including our Bradford water heater out on Alameda island.

Even though I work with my hands for living, it's in the arts and so I understand that it's not always easy to work with some people in the trades because they live a different life than people who work in offices all day.

But Chris is a genuine and courteous guy and I found it easy to communicate with him and I think he works with customers well. So, I'd definitely recommend Chris for your work.

If you need a routine check on your toilet, definitely look elsewhere to get better pricing. They charged me $170 to change my flapper and fill valve, which took about 15 minutes. I should have just watched a 10 minute YouTube clip, bought the $25 in parts at the hardware store, and done it myself.
