My water heater pilot has been off/on for the last year. All I have ever done for a quick fix is light the pilot. However when the weather gets warmer, the pilot goes out more than usual. The other day, 3x's. I had to call Petersen to find a solution. He came out immediately, explained the possibilities of the problem. But because my water heater was so old and it could cost me more to fix, he suggested I replace it completely with a tankless. Something in the long haul, will save me more $, save me more water and overall more efficiency. He removed the old tank and replaced it with the tankless. I love the fact that I can have endless hot water too! Thank You again!

Unfortunately we had to change our review of Taylor Petersen based on our last interaction with him. Our pressure regulator valve gave out and he had to replace it and move it from a muddy hole on the curb to a more accessible location. He spent two days ( 6 hours, then 4 hours) doing this and it was a difficult dirty job. However it cost us $4200. That is a pretty spectacular hourly rate. Every plumber we spoke with said the exact job, digging mud and all, should have cost $1000 or less and in fact two of our neighbors in our condo unit had the exact same thing done for less. So when we lost our water pressure again only a few months later, we were floored and disappointed when he immediately said it must be a new problem and it would cost us another $249 for him to come check it out . He took no responsibility and gavve is a long sob story about how he has to charge that to put food on the table for his family. Well they must be eating filet mignon and caviar because we got a second opinion from a reputable plumber who said the valve was never properly set and fixed the problem for free. He also confirmed that the job should have cost more like $1000 max. Taylor was unfortunately rude and reluctant to come assess his own work which left a really sour taste in our mouths. He did some other things that were pretty slimy but will take too long to write about so I'll stop here. Very frustrating and costly to deal with.

Addendum: Mr. Peterson just informed me that he is going to come after me for $500 for writing this review.
