Juan came over to help with a simple faucet install. Two hours later,sweating, he saw a nightmare. There was concrete that needed to drilled out in order to make the faucet connect. ANY plumber would have given up. He was incredible!!!

Great experience with Petersen Plumbing. Needed a fast kitchen faucet fix (expecting company tonight!). After trying to line up two other companies with no success, ""Yelped"" and found Petersen. After talking with their receptionist, got a quick call back from the owner, who explained what to expect in terms of pricing and scheduling. Technician was able to get here quicker than expected (yay!), fixed the problem and another minor one efficiently, and cleanly, very polite guy.

Definitely will use Petersen again, highly recommend them!

Called the answering service today as we had water running down the street and could not figure out the source- Philip promptly returned my call and appeared on our doorstep about 15 minutes later. He ably determined that it was coming from the main after ruling out any leaks in our irrigation system and house plumbing. Reasonable rates and up front about costs. I would call them again if I needed a plumber for sure!

Taylor came to my house to assess a problem I had with a washer installation done by Sears. To his credit, he recommended that I NOT hire him to fix the problem -- and instead advised me on a couple of other options that would cost me a lot less money.

I followed his advice and fixed the problem, very inexpensively. And he didn't charge me anything for the consultation.

Taylor had previously done a water heater installation for me, so I know that when he does do a job, he does it well.

Taylor is now my go-to plumber in Marin.

Tried these guys based on yelp ratings. Was having problems with a pilot light on a water heater, which after a little research suspected was a bad thermocouple. Put a call into them, spoke to a answering service, and got a call back within 20 minutes. Their guy was out at the house by late morning. Got a mild up-sell on replacing the entire water heater (it is 17 years old), but stuck with the thermocouple. He completed the job within 20 minutes, and the charge was $175, consistent with the estimate. A week later, seems to have done the trick and would recommend them based on my one experience.

Petersen Plumbing has done several jobs for us, from fixing a niggly leak to complete overhauls. Taylor is always on time, extremely careful not to scratch anything or leave grease anywhere, and the work is impeccable. He's a pleasure to do business with.
