My Mr. Fix It was out of town and my sink was backed up. I called and Peterson himself answered the phone. His tech arrived with 45 minutes and was friendly and efficient. Not cheap but worth it.

My family and I recently moved to Sausalito from Monterey. I have had Petersen Plumbing, John Beard, handle several big and small jobs for me. He is unequivocally the best plumber I have hired, anywhere! In addition to other smaller items, John has installed a sump pump, RO system, and even fixed a water main into my house that was causing restricted water flow and was obstructed by a bougainvillea tree. Since my house was part of an HOA (Home Owner's Association),
there was sensitivity among the homeowners about keeping the tree alive. John went the extra mile and helped me devise an SOW (Statement of Work) which I submitted to the HOA and John then repaired the water main, perfectly and kept the tree alive! The end result was that my water pressure improved from 48 PSI to 82 PSI. Every time now when taking a shower, I notice the difference thanks to John's work.

I originally spoke to Taylor who is a principal in the company and he, too, was an outstanding professional and helped us with a sump pump inspection on short notices

I give Petersen Plumbing 5+ stars. They are the best and I highly recommend their services for all of your plumbing needs.

These guys are great! They were responsive, efficient, and well worth the cost of getting my drain clear. As a bonus they even repaired some problem plumbing under our utility sink as part of the original price. I really appreciate getting great service and Petersen definitely provided it.

I recently had a highly positive experience with Peterson Plumbing. John helped track down and fix a slow leak from behind the tile in an upstairs shower that was beginning to show on the ceiling of a downstairs bedroom. He hoisted himself into a crawl space between floors, detected the source of the leak, diagnosed the problem as a corroded shower valve, found a replacement part, and installed new fixtures. Great detective work! He also was super efficient with several other more mundane plumbing issues we had on our list. John was straightforward, earnest, friendly, and professional -- a pleasure to work with, important since he was at our home for over 4 hours.

RIPOFF!!! They said it would be $80 to come out and check my tankless water heater and give me a quote to repair it. They came out, said it's not working and would be $500 to diagnose. They opened it up, and said it needs to be replaced and would cost $5500. They were pushy to agree to do it ASAP. I tried to get the water heater company to provide a replacement under warranty, but they hadn't mentioned that it was under warranty and didn't get the necessary info while it was open, so they would have to charge again to do that so I can't get a warranty replacement.

I called 2 other plumbers who charged nothing to come out to check it and quoted $3600 and $3200 with no pressure to agree immediately. Stay away - these guys are a huge ripoff.

We had a gas leak & Petersen Plumbing responded immediately (even though we were an hour away). Their services were great, however, my complaint is the pricing. He spent 2 hours on the job and charged us over $1400. So my question to all... is this a fair price? If so than I will reward them 5 stars.
