If you are looking for an unusual part for an old fixture, Petersen Plumbing is the best place to look. They have an inventory of parts you cannot get elsewhere. I have also had them do plumbing work for me and I have always been very happy. Quality work.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. I was able to get a non-emergency appointment very quickly. The person the phone was able to answer my questions and guide me through the process.

The man who came out is a pure craftsman. He did everything right. He pointed out everything that the previous guy had done wrong and explained why it's wrong and why the right way is right. He cleaned up after himself, he was a great conversationalist, he was patient with my questions. They've been in business for 97 years and for good reason.

However, two small minuses. I understood the appointment to be at 9am. At 9:30 I got a call asking if it was OK to head over. Secondly, I was expecting the work to take about 2 hours at most. Instead, it took about 4 hours because of uncovering new problems (not his fault). As such, the work cost about double what I was expecting. I just wish he would have given me the estimate before he started because I wouldn't want a family on a tight budget to be surprised by extra cost for a non-emergency fix.

Overall, very pleased. I will definitely be hiring them again.

called to have a toilet looked at and made an appointment. they were supposed to be there between 11 and 2 thursday afternoon. they didn't show up and didn't call until after 3:30. i asked if they could come tomorrow, and the guy said that he could come between 11 an 2 again. i asked if they were really going to come and all he could say is ""we'll try to make it"". i guess they don't really need the business, do they?

This place is in an old yellow brick building in a residential neighborhood it's a great place to find plumbing they carry everything its been there forever and the people are really helpful but you gotta wait in line to get waited on I highly recommend it
