Recommended Customer Reviews
Kevin Z came out today to give our HVAC an inspection . Kevin immediately diagnosed an issue and repaired the unit. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and very intelligent.
I feel that Kevin is an experienced technician and is valued by us for quality service.
Also, Peterman Brothers has the best receptionists of any business in Indiana.
Their business model should be practiced by other companies everywhere.
They won't come out if you own a mobile home. !! That really don't make since. You have to own the land.
Eric V.Sewer pipe attempted replacement:
Absolutely deserving of a one star rating. We feel like we were bullied and attempted to be taken advantage of. Luckily we questioned things and sought outside guidance. This was a nightmare experience. I'll spare the details but many days of worries and lost sleep.
We called Peteman's on a friend's recommendation. They replaced our A/C and suggested we replace our furnace because the two would work better together. This work was completed in July. In December Peterman's called to setup one of two maintenance checks that came with our installation. The tech was here 10 minutes when he discovered water on the top of our water heater which he said was coming from the stove pipe from our furnace.
The tech said we needed to replace the pipe leading to the roof and the chimney on the roof. The cost was estimated to be in around $2500. When we asked why they didn't replace this when they replaced the furnace he couldn't say. When we asked to speak to a supervisor, no one was called. He then told us the water heater was leaking underneath. Again, when we told him we would have to look into it he did not call his supervisor.
This has been my experience with Peterman's. They come out to fix one thing and find several other problems. I suspect my two free inspections each year would bring the same results.
Had a clogged kitchen sink and the technician attempted to use a drain snake to clear the clog. After about 20 min of using the snake, tech said he couldn't fix it. Suggested I might need a $750 hydro jet cleaning, said no at the time. Called my regular plumber and they got the drain cleared out using the very same snake equipment. Disappointed I wasted $83 on Peterman, most likely will not be calling them again. Tech was very polite and helpful though.
