One of the 2 workers made a comment on the cleanliness of my kitchen which i think is very unprofessional when u are there strictly to do a service, not to clean or judge the area. I only was able to catch one of their names, Jacob was very respectful and communicated nicely. overall okay service i just felt disrespected in my own living spaces

Garbage customer service. April 2022 Peterman Brothers was out in 24 hours to quote and next day to install a new furnace and air conditioner. Now, 26 months later, the AC isn't cooling, $85 diagnostic fee, 1 year warranty and oh, they can't make it out for 11 days. If that's the kind of customer service and commitment you're looking for, waste your time and money with Peterman Brothers. I'll call a company with integrity for the diagnosis and who values relationships not just a quick buck. This is not the same business model Pete Peterman was running when he did work at this same house in the 80's.

We have been with Peterman a few years now after my HVAC provider was bought out by them.
1.) Their 5 star rating system is bogus since the tech asks you to give them 5 stars as soon as complete.
2.) 2X I have been left with a down system after a simple checkup. We are not talking safety or anything, the tech that comes out to clean is not a full fledged tech and if something breaks someone else has to come out.
3.) In respect to above, I have a contract that is supposed to have priority to keep me running. Last time down, none of the techs wanted to work Saturday so I had to wait until Monday when it was over 90 outside.
4.) Don't buy the high end equipment from them, they don't know it well. I bought top of the line short of going to geo-thermal and they seem pretty puzzled. To top it off, 9 years into my purchase the tech having trouble fixing the unit has the nerve to tell me it is time replace it. Bryant comes with a 10 parts warranty, why would I do that even if I was dumb enough to trust his recommendation?
Don't get me started with charging $140 for a frayed wire outside during the visit to sell me a new one. (Insulation was nicked, wire was fine)

Had our bi-annual service and inspection on the HVAC that I got a year ago on July 14th. Everything was working great before the service, July 16th the air quit, the tech that came out stated there was a Freon leak, recharge the unit and left. The 26th the air quit again, called had a tech out today the 27th. Said he found the broken piece and has to order it, will schedule a time to replace it when it comes in. It's 91 degrees today and high 90s tomorrow with heat index in the 100s. Ask for a supervisor or owner to call, no call from anyone. Call the company call center and asked for someone to call, told the information would be given to customer service team, and still no call. I should have known since when it was 1st installed and the techs didn't wire the unit up correctly it would be a debacle with Peterman. I wouldn't recommend them.

I only have facts, (in writing) how this company can and will rip you off ..... all the while looking you in the eye ,with a big grin with the look , as if they are thinking,what a fool you are for trusting us!!
Next time at the very least use some lube!!! I'm $310.00 ahead on a 30 minute job ( that's right this gang wanted to charge me $370.00 for a 30 minute job , and that was after a so-called discount of $70+ ?) So glad I didn't fall for their slick game .......

Literally could write a book. This company is beyond terrible. I am still dealing with the fall out of their botched jobs from July. I have had more trouble with my well/plumbing/Geo system since they walked into my house 8 weeks ago then I had for the previous 8 years. They came to fix a garbage disposal I ended up with iron filters and well pump adjustments per ""Toms"" recommendations. I can't even begin to explain the hell that has ensued since. Including my entire basement flooding and now needing to replace my Geo unit. That's just the high points. Class action lawsuits or better business something needs to be done to put this company out.

Hi Consumers.

An update for Peterman Bros.
They looked at my Generac Generator and told me I needed to replace the regulator and relay on unit. Tech stated he couldn't even get unit to turn on. They stated a week later they could not get parts, said my unit was obsolete. The unit is 7 years old. I have asked for the deposit I gave to be refunded. Have yet to receive. I made a call today and they said accounting was real busy and would have to call me back.
In the meantime I called Knees Electric. Have someone out right now. He got the unit running, said it was the battery....He is servicing the unit and the total will be less than the deposit I gave Peterman Bros to ""fix"" unit.
Please stay away from Peterman, not honest and not reliable!
