... was referred to this guy by a neighbor. He showed up 5 days after promising me daily that he'd meet me at my house at 7am ... showed up at 5:30pm ... he tinkered around for 20 minutes then said he had to go to pick up parts for my water heater ... returned an hour later and spent 15 minutes in the basement, then came up and said "" ... that'll be $385.00 ... gave him my credit card and he runs the card then tells me he has to return first thing in the morning as he couldn't get an expansion tank ... never saw him again ... one of my patients sent over a plumber who took a look at the water heater and said that no work had been performed at all and that every hardware store on Long Island keeps that particular expansion tank in stock ... he went to Lowe's, was back in a half hour, repaired everything in 15 minutes and charged me $ 200.00 ... reported Peter Piper to Consumer Affairs ... lesson learned ... do not call this guy !!!
