Pete Borman established this family-run business over 68 years ago
when he recognized a demand for a skilled and trustworthy plumber in the community.
Pete sold the business to Al Price, his son-in-law, and Jerry Klasky, a dedicated employee, in 1972.
Al bought out Jerry's portion of the company in 2007.
Currently, Chris (Pete's grandson and Al's son) proudly manages the family business.
Pete the Plumber is a third-generation business.
Janet keeps operations running smoothly when Chris is not in the office.
Your patronage means a lot to us, and we are always available to help our past, present, and future customers.
Chris began his journey with Pete the Plumber in 1986 as a junior plumber.
Through hard work, he became a licensed plumber and climbed to the role of general manager.
He strives to provide top-notch service and surpass his clients' expectations.
Chris thinks the greatest praise for Pete the Plumber comes from referrals by friends, colleagues, family, or neighbors.
Our company has relied on ""word of mouth"" advertising since 1945 and continues to find it the highest form of praise.
We emphasize honesty, reasonable pricing, being on time, and clearly outlining procedures to our customers.

I've had great results with Pete The Plumber. Chris and Janet schedule the appointments. Robert came out on time and cleared a drain stoppage, installed a new garbage disposal, a new hot water valve, a new p-trap, a new water filter and and fixed some leaky faucets, all for a reasonable price. They'll give you an estimate over the phone and have been around since 1946. Nice, honest people in my experience.

Good experience. Robert was very quick and efficient. Great attitude and
observed all the Covid precautions.
Will use them again.

Showed up on time. Performed work for less than estimated. Good price on replacement parts compared to buying on my own. Would absolutely call again.

I wouldn't recommend Pete the Plumber service, it is very expensive and Chris is very rude

I have used these guys like 4-5 times.
Installed a water heater. Fixed shower faucets and snaked drains. I have to say every aspect of this mom and pop shop is great. The plumbers are knowledgeable and easy going. Show up on time. Quality work. The prices are honest and more affordable then others. Call em

Nice guys installed my water heater. Felt honest and fair price. Will keep using Chris is a nice honest guy too. Saved me about 800 bucks that another person would
Have charged

I had a very good experience. The plumbers arrived on time, worked quickly, efficiently and did a great job. The pricing was favorable. I'd called around and gotten a few other quotes and theirs was the best quote for the work I needed to have done. I'm happy to have a neighborhood plumber to call on should I need one again. What a relief to have a plumber I feel I can trust. I initially spoke to Chris to get a quote on the work needed and he was very thorough in explaining everything. The work actually wound up taking less time and costing a little bit less than originally quoted. Thanks!

Very impressed. I called late in the afternoon and spoke with Janet, who efficiently took down a description of my branch line clog and told me they'd have someone at my place in twenty minutes. It didn't even take that long. The guys were polite and friendly, carried up all their tools on the first trip, and got right down to business. I'd had a different plumber in just hours earlier who seemed honest and professional but couldn't snake the clog and wanted to open up the wall. The guys from Pete's used a smaller snake but had some tricks up their sleeve, put in a good bit of elbow grease, and removed the clog without touching the wall. End result: A much faster and much less expensive resolution, and a guarantee that I'll call Pete's first next time.

I've had excellent service from Pete the Plumber before so when my water purifying system started spraying a ton of water under my sink, I called in a small panic and Chris answered. He walked me through instructions on how to turn off the water and it took him less than 10 minutes to be at my house. He stopped the leak, talked to me about solutions, and answered all my questions. I had some time to do some research and what he told me was on the money. He came back two hours later to install a system that gets fantastic references and reviews. My favorite moment was when he told me he'd send a bill because I had been billed before and I had paid promptly. In other words, I am a good customer and they appreciate my business. In my words, this is a great plumbing outfit and you Yelpers should know about it.

We had a great experience with Chris regarding a sewage line issue for our new house. He arrived promptly, showed me video of the pipe in real-time, and educated me on what was/was not needed and why. Professional, friendly and trustworthy.
I also learned that he's a third generation plumbing specialist!
