Pete The Plumber is amazing!

I've been relying on Pete The Plumber to take care of my 10-unit apartment building & personal residence for over 11 years. Whether it's an issue at home or something one of my 20 tenants report, Pete the Plumber can be trusted to provide cost effective solutions. Over the years I've encountered several people at Pete's. From Janet Matranga the scheduler that takes incoming calls to one of their plumbers climbing under a unit to investigate problems, everyone at Pete's is professional & knowledgeable. This team is responsive, responsible & positive. They interact well with my tenants, come prepared & always leave a clean job site. Their fees are reasonable & they never try to upsell me on unnecessary things. The owner, Chris Price is honest & accountable. He often encourages me to get the maximum out of my exiting investments rather than replace things that can still perform well with maintenance.

I've come to believe that good results come from good beginnings. That's why initial calls to Pete the Plumber are so important. Every time I speak to Janet at Pete's I end the call feeling good about the company. Janet asks the right questions & takes time to write down & repeat issues reported to her in a manner that ensures good communication. She reiterates details about the specific tenant involved & makes sure to confirm critical information about location, schedule & payment responsibility. Janet follows up in writing when needed using texts or emails. Her attention to detail & kind demeanor reduce tension in challenging situations like leaks or a backed-up sink. My tenants say they appreciate the way Janet & everyone they encounter at Pete's respond when they call.

All this helps me be a good landlord my tenants can respect. That's why I'm grateful to have Pete the Plumber in my life.

I woke up at 5:30 this morning to the sound of water gushing outside. I finally located the source of the sound at the front of my house next to the water faucet. There was a big water leak/gushing making a puddle/river and running down our DG walkway to the street. I knew enough to turn off the water. It looked like it had been leaking for hours.
I wasn't sure who to call so I started with DWP who said it was a homeowner issue. So I called our plumber, Pete the Plumber at 7am. Their call service said that they'd get back to me asap. 20 minutes later, the office manager called me back and patiently listened to my story and told me she would get the guys out here first thing - as soon as they came in.
Efrain and his assistant arrived at 9:30 and assessed the situation. A portion of the pipe connecting the sprinkler system needed to be replaced. They had all their tools with them and had everything done in a half hour. Efrain showed me the hole in the ground and told me they would come back to turn the water on in 24 hours but I told them that I can do that myself.
All in all, it was a very good experience with Pete's excellent service. We have used Pete the Plumber for over five years and are always happy with their work. Their customer service is also great!

We had a great experience with Pete the Plumber from start to finish. Their overall professionalism and efficiency displayed by their team were top-notch. When we first called to set up an appointment, Manny in the office was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He scheduled a time for Chris, the owner, to come out and assess our kitchen plumbing situation. Chris arrived on time, crawled under our house, assessed the situation, and then explained everything that needed to be done in a way that was easy to understand. That same day, Chris emailed us a clear, detailed, quote for the work that needed to be done, which was priced very fairly. We had some questions, and Chris made sure we were comfortable with the plan before proceeding. We approved the quote and scheduled the work.
The actual work was done promptly and with great attention to detail. Chris and his employees were respectful of our home, ensuring everything was clean before they left. The quality of work exceeded our expectations. Overall we are very happy with the service we received from Chris and Pete the Plumber. Their professionalism, clear, communication, high-quality work and fair price made the entire process, smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

If these guys work is anything like their employees then stay away. They were driving their dark blue van and it has its back left tail light out. They then proceed to yell profanity out the window because I rolled down my window and told
Them "" Your back taillight is out. So I called and was told that was the owner.....LOL. If that's how the owners runs his business then oh boy.

Chris , the Owner was incredibly rude .
I asked to get an estimate / scope of work to remove an object out of a pipe.
He said because I asked for an estimate , they will not go to the job site until I agree for them to start cutting pipe .
I have not worked with this company , so I was unwilling to give him that permission .
I ended up using a plumber I know to be able to solve problems . ( no pipe was cut ). Trust in this business is essential.
Unfortunately, Chris did not give me a chance to trust him .
I did not use them so I cannot attest to their quality of work .

The great people at Pete the Plumber have come to my rescue on more than one occasion. I used to manage four apartment buildings (42 units total) in different parts of the City and they were always our ""go to"" for any and all plumbing problems.

I don't manage property anymore, but I STILL call them out to my own place for every plumbing issue that arises.

They work quickly, meticulously and leave the premises clean (which I cannot say for other repair-people). I recommend them highly!!

We have a gurgling sound in one of our bathrooms and have had Pete the plumber out three times already. They proposed multiple solutions on the second visit that they were supposed to implement on the third but didn't do a single one of them, just more snaking. I watched one of the guys they sent texting away and cursing talking about how he didn't want to be here all day. Later one of their employees told me he usually only worked in the office. Avoid these guys, they're no more cost effective than other plumbers and there are issues with work ethic and work quality. I've used them for the last year consistently and this third visit for the same problem was the last time.

I have lived in West Hollywood for 12 years. For the past 10 of those I have used no other plumbing service than Pete the Plumber. The staff, especially Janet (a gift from God!), always seem to be able to diagnose the problem over the phone. Someone is always able to come by the next day and I know they won't ask for a pile of gold as payment! Look no further - ALL HAIL, PETE THE PLUMBER!!
