Had an incident Saturday night where we lost water pressure in the house and could hear water running in the walls. We shut off the the main water control then called their 24 hour emergency number at midnight, Sat night. Called again Sunday morning but never received even a call. Monday morning I called Pester and described my experience and lack off customer service and no call back, the receptionists curtly said, ""they should have"" and continued on. I may be looking for a different Plummer in the future.

Very friendly. Said plummer would be out within a few hours and he was actually early! Caleb did a great job and again was very personable and professional. Rates are good. Will definitely use again!

hey worked on a leak in my meter and got it fixed, and when the job was done they turned the water on, I asked then if the city was supposed to turn in it on and they said no, now the city shut my water and is charging me 144 for turning the water back on without their knowledge. those guys don't know what they are doing, I would be very careful dealing with them.

They performed work my mother. Charged over $700.00 to replace shower faucets. Then after waiting 2 weeks for the tile work to be completed I decided to visit them in person and talk to a supervisor. They have some great big pitbull looking dog in the shop that given a chance will run right up to you and either lick you or bite you. After the dog scare, the owner called my mother and asked her to have me call him so he could apologize. Really? I have to call you so you can apologize? I gave my phone number to your people multiple times over the course of 2 weeks and I have to call you? A serious business owner would insisted on a face to face apology after the incredibly bad experience with getting the work completed and don't even get me started on the dog side of it. What professional company lets a dog run loose on the grounds?

I've used Pester Plumbing for several years. They've helped finish a basement, install sinks, installed a water softener. All of the employees have been professional and leave the work area clean. Highly recommend them

We used Pester plumbing in Dayton at the recommendation of another plumbing company who did not have the equipment for my particular plumbing job. I could not be happier. Justin came out and was prompt, courteous, respectful, and timely on finishing the job. The best part....the plumbing is working again.

I have used Pester Plumbing for all of the needs for our home. And in Oakwood, there's always something that needs to be fixed in these older homes! They have done everything from updating all of our old water pipes to unclogging slow drains. And the bonus is that their customer service is outstanding. Five stars from this homeowner.

We had to call this company and have a technician sent out 4 times before they fixed a leak in an upstairs bathroom that was causing major water damage to the 1st floor ceiling. On the second visit the technician insulted us by telling us all we needed to do was caulk around the tub? I wont even get into their billing issues or the fact that they have no record of the first visit! We have hired another local plumbing company and haven't had any more problems.

Called Pester Plumbing on a friend's recommendation, to get an estimate on repairs before closing on a new house. First, they said they did free estimates. Then when they had problems gaining access to the house through realtor security company (why, I wonder?) no one called me back.
When I called them, they suddenly decided to charge me for the estimate, thanks to THEIR problems getting access to house.
Poor communication, unable to gain access to house in selling process for unknown reasons, and changing their mind about charges.
Will not use again. Their loss, as I will need a plumber for three large upgrades to new houses, and Pester will not be it.

MINUS 5 RATING: Pester Plumbing installed a water heater in Feb 2014. We had a strong smell of gas in our home & called Vectren who came out 6/21/14 & per the Vectren worker who stated that we had a dangerous gas leak from that installation from Pester Plumbing. The Vectren worker called Pester Plumbing to fix the leak & turned off the gas. After a 6hr time frame getting to our home & 5-6 phone calls from the Pester worker he finally showed up & was not to us qualified to do the work [he smelled bad; had a heavy smell of cigarettes & was not sure why he was there] My husband has cardiac & pul conditions & is on O2] I recalled Pester Plumbing & I spoke to a person called Ted; he did not identified his position & stated that Pester Plumbing would NOT come back out & that I needed to call another company to take care of the leak! Ted stated that he might consider repaying for the repair by the other company if they felt that Pester was responsible. We had the repairs done & we recalled Ted @ Pester Plumbing & he was NOT available & I requested a return phone call & Ted never responded. I sent a certified letter directly to the owner Brian Pester with a full explanation & the cost of the repair. The Post Office made x3 attempts to deliver the letter [attempts 7/14; 7/19 & 7/29/14]. We received the letter back on 8/4/14 stating that the post office was unable to deliver the certified letter. The kicker is that I called the Building Mgr of Centerville [Dan Sammon] & was told by Mr Sammon that Pester Plumbing did not have a 2014 permit to do work in Centerville in Feb 2014 in the first place. STAY AWAY FROM PESTER PLUMBLING
