We had a plumber we trusted completely but sadly --he moved away. We went searching for a family plumber we could trust and found that service in Personal Plumbing Inc. Bob, the owner for decades, talked us through our options by phone and gave us upfront pricing and got us scheduled immediately. Chris, our tech, came the next day and replaced an old water heater and leaky shower head and more. He was friendly, totally professional and we just couldn't be happier with the end results. I felt so sure of the knowledge base between Bob and his crew, I will recommend him to everyone I know without hesitation. His prices were great and his work was solid. I am so glad to have found him. The worst time to look for a plumber is when you have an emergency-- the best time to find Personal Plumbing Inc. is any day of the week, 24/7. Bob has always been our go to plumber. And, this time was no different. When are water hearer needed to be relocated to make drywall repairs, Bob quoted us a fair and reasonable price. His team was on time and got the work completed in an efficient manner. He was able to provide a turkey service and I would highly recommend his services.

Our garbage disposer stopped working and the flushing mechanisms on three toilets were ready for new replacements, and the base of one toilet seemed to be leaking. Fortunately, we had a referral for Personal Plumbing, Inc. and the owner sent a very competent and very personable plumber, within a matter of hours after my call for help. Their prices were more than fair. Also, their plumber discovered that the bolts securing the kitchen sink in place, were very loose and the sink was in danger of dropping completely out. So he tightened them with an appropriate tool, and needless to say, this was the potential for a very expensive accident. I have used many plumbing firms over the years and I give this company my very highest praise and definitely recommend them as your ""go to"" Plumbing Company.

Bob and his team are real Pros, and did a fantastic job with our conversion from a traditional water heater to a tankless setup. Bob answered questions, showed us the work that would be needed, explained the benefits and operational issues, and scheduled the work at at time convenient for us.

Installation day went smoothly, and the team was fast, professional, and very clean - even covering painted surfaces in our garage to make sure nothing got dusty.

Happy to recommend Personal Plumbing without hesitation, they've done several projects large and small at our home and we've always been completely happy with their work - full marks!

Ryan at Friendly Flooring recommended these guys so I called them and I am glad I did. Bobby (from NY) has been working at my house several times the last 2 weeks as we remodel our upstairs guest bath and master bath. In the master we had Bobby move hot& cold copper pipes in the wall to fit behind the double vanity. He also installed a spa/tub, tub valve/overflow and drain, shower faucet valve and came back and did the trim after the tile guy completed his part. I would call these guys for any project your contemplating. Bobby is super polite, cleans up and does great looking work.

Not only was Personal Plumbing's quote the best on a gas appliance install, their service was excellent as well. This company is so good that I felt obligated to write this Yelp review before they even completed their work.

Bob was able to give me an estimate when I was still at work so I didn't have to drive home and back.

Their bid came back so much lower than the other two I got that I was a little skeptical that I might be getting quoted for inadequate hardware. But Bob stood by his quote and ensured me that if I was not happy with the performance, his company gave a 1 year satisfaction guarantee on top of the 15 year warranty on the Navien.

The more I looked into the specs of the unit these guys were recommending the more I could tell that Personal Plumbing were giving me a very fair price, for exactly what I needed (plus an inline ion filter that the other companies weren't offering), whereas the other two were deliberately overselling me, and one even insisted that I replace the pressure regulator and overflow tanks for another $2,000, which Personal Plumbing told me were not necessary.

I am now writing this as John and Tim are in my garage, carefully and expertly replacing my cracked 15 year old standard water heater with a state of the art Navien tankless. The fact that they even put oil catch mats underneath their vehicles in the driveway shows how much they go above and beyond what is expected. And Tim even came inside and fixed two stuck faucets for free!

If 5-stars on Yelp signifies ""as good as it gets"", then Personal Plumbing is the epitome of 5-stars.

I don't know about anyone else, but every time I have to call a plumber I get hives. I recently had an issue with my kitchen sink backing up into my dishwasher and called a local guy. He stood over my sink, looked at the pipes, peaked into the dishwasher (full of nasty water at the bottom) and without so much as pulling out a tool or flashlight immediately told me it was not a plumbing issue, rather the dishwasher. I don't know anything about plumbing, but that didn't make sense. He left within 15 minutes and promptly sent me a $75 home visit/service fee. I was NOT happy! I followed his recommendation and called a dishwasher guy who informed me that the dishwasher was in working condition and it was a plumbing issue.

Ok, now I'm really annoyed.

I managed to throw some Draino down the pipes and it was resolved . . . temporarily.

A few months later, the same issue was happening. I knew Draino wasn't going to fix it.

My neighbor recommended his plumber and I figured, what do I have to lose?

I honestly can't say enough about Personal Plumbing, Inc. Where to start? Bob sent someone out almost immediately, even though it wasn't an urgent issue. Ed was kind, professional and very detailed. He tried to snake the drain and when that didn't work, he brought out the longer snake. When that didn't work he brought out the Mega one. He was upstairs, downstairs, inside and outside trying to figure out where the issue stemmed from. Ed was literally working tirelessly for 3 hours with no resolution, but he didn't want to give up. Ed called Bob, the owner, to see if he could help. Bob offered to come back the following day with yet more equipment, including a camera to get to the bottom of it. Bob was early, professional and kind. He immediately knew the root of the problem and explained each step with great detail.

Bottom line, the piping was improperly installed during construction. Bob needed to cut open the wall to gain access. A homeowners nightmare, right? I trusted Bob and he assured me he had a drywall guy that would make it look as good as new. Bob made a very small hole, got to the access point and quickly cleared out the clog. He also determined rather than close off the wall, an access panel would be the best option in the event a plumber needed to access the pipe again. Perfect!

Bob was in and out in less than an hour!

Not only was I extremely impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and dedication both Ed and Bob displayed Personal Plumbing, Inc. is also reasonably priced. Bob didn't overcharge or even charge for the hours Ed spent trying to resolve the issues. Personal Plumbing, Inc. is top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing issues. Don't call anyone else! You won't be disappointed.
