Sent to my home by Choice Home Warranty company. What he told me was wrong be what he told the home warranty company were two different stories to get the claim denied. No way would I hire them.

Be CareFul
waste of money and time. very bad attitude. The rudest Person. Assigned through total home protection. He will charge you extra for every thing even finding the Main water Valve to close it before starting to work on. changed hot water main valve, but still hot water was not coming on few taps in shower and sink and he refuses to work on those stating out of warranty.

We recently had issues with our dishwasher leaking and we called our CHW Home Warranty. They gave us the number of Perry the Plumber and we called their office and left a message. They finally called back ONE WEEK later. They finally came out to the house and $60 fee later said that there is an issue with the seal on our dishwasher and they will order it. We hadn't received any information FOR ANOTHER WEEK, then we called the warranty service. They said that they didn't cover the part and so we called and left messages with PERRY. He NEVER returned our calls and when we finally got ahold of him, he said that he would call back at the end of the day. He NEVER called again and we are left with a leaky dishwasher. If you are looking for the WORST customer service imaginable, leave their office a message.

The worst customer service. No knowledge of product. They came to fix the problem and left without even looking at it.

NEVER, NEVER USE PERRY THE PLUMBER...EVER!!! THEY ARE THE RUDEST TECHNICIANS I HAVE EVER MET!

Perry the Plumber was assigned to my Hot water heater and washing machine repair. I specifically set an 8AM appointment for today 1/15/2015 so I would be the first appointment of the day. Since I would have to stay home from work I wanted the earliest appointment so I didn't have to wait around all morning. At 8:30 the technician calls to see if he can come out NOW. I made a comment about the fact he was supposed to be here by 8AM and he was curt and insisted I was scheduled from9AM-11AM. The technician and his helper show up at my house at 8:45AM. He never introduced himself or his helper. I took him to the garage to diagnose the water heater. It a single glance he cocked back his head and said, " I am not doing anything with that!" I asked him what he meant and he said, "this is not installed properly!" as he touched the flex hose on the pressure release valve. Now this flex hose is attached to the copper pipe that leads outside to the drain area.

To give a little back ground on this water heater. On 11/26 I called in to my warranty company "Choice Home Warranty" about the water heater running out of hot water during a single shower. A few days later the assigned plumber from "Flow Right Plumbing" had come out and diagnosed that the DIP TUBE was most likely detached and needed replacement and that the PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE needed replacement because it was leaking as he could see water dripping from outside drain. Flow Right Plumbing submitted a claim to Choice Home Warranty for the DIP TUBE, leaving off the PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE. This plumber failed to include the PRV on the claim. I asked him 3 times to resubmit the claim to CHW to include all the necessary repairs. Over a period of 5 weeks Flow Right never followed up to amend claim or set appointment to repair. I finally called CHW to request a new plumber. This is were Perry the Plumber got involved.

Now back to Perry the Plumber; After his cocking of his head and rude attitude regarding the "improper installed flex house", he started to make excuses for being late. I started to say, "I am sorry, but the person that called to schedule the appointment said you would be here at 8AM since I was the first appointment." However, I didn't get a chance to say this before the technician said, "I don't have to do this!" and he turned around and just left! He didn't even begin to handle the washer claim repair....he simply stormed off! I toke time off from work twice now trying to get his HWH repaired only to have TWO incompetent "licensed" plumbers out to my house and it is now 50 days later I still don't have it fixed.

Then Perry the Plumber told Choice Home Warranty that the water heater was installed improperly so now they won't have someone else come out. THE FIRST PLUMBER CHW ASSIGNED NEVER SAID ANY THING ABOUT THE FLEX HOSE OR ANYTHING BEING IMPORPERLY INSTALLED". He diagnosed the problem and was willing to do the repair, only he failed to handle the claim update an follow up. BUT NOW CHW HAS MY WATER HEATER LABELED AS IMPORPERLY INSTALLED!!

Now I am back to having to take additional time off from work to have another company come out to repair my washer since Perry the Plumber just walked off. With all the income I have lost, I could have hired my own plumber and paid cash...and still been better off then using the crappy "professional" plumbers assigned by my home warranty company.

PLEASE, never use CHOICE HOME WARRANTY EITHER!!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!! I PAID THEM $400 FOR A 1 YEAR WARRANTY THAT BUT I CAN'T GET ANYTHING FIXED IN A TIMELY FASHION. THEN IF YOU CANCEL YOUR POLICY THEY HAVE PROCESSING FEES AND PRORATION, SUCH THAT YOU GET NOTHING BACK!!

Perry the Plumber was scheduled through my home warranty company to replace my water heater. This was the worst experience ever. On Dec 22, my home warranty contracted Perry the Plumber to inspect my water heater. After inspection, Perry the Plumber stated that the water heater would need to be replaced. After an initial quote of $180 and authorization through home warranty, the company notified me that they would have to increase the price to $300. After discussion with Perry the Plumber and the confusion on their end, we agreed to pay the $300. After authorization was then achieved through my home warranty company again, we were scheduled for 2 days later (Dec 24) to have a new water heater placed between 1 pm-3 pm. I rearranged my schedule to be home during this time frame and at 1:45 pm I was contacted by Perry the Plumber stating that they would not be able to make it to the house because they thought the warehouse where they get the water heaters from would be open, but they were not. They stated that they had to reschedule us for Dec 26. Because this had put me at a huge inconvenience from a lack of preparation on the businesses end, I felt that there should be some adjustments made from a business aspect. The office clerk notified the technician, who stated there was nothing he could do. I then spoke with the owner and technician myself. I told him that becasue they did not prepare for a business appointment as a proffessional business should do and could not follow through as a business on their end, then I should not be held to the same standards and should have my price reduced. The owner stated he would not do anything for me and that we were just going to have to wait. I explained to him that I would be ok with that if it had been an issue on my part or if it were simply because it was Christmas Eve and that he was running behind and would not be able to get to us but because he had failed as a business professional to uphold a business standard in preparing for a scheduled appointment, then he should make appropriate actions for the customer. He stated he did not know what I wanted from him and that I was just going to have to wait. I then explained to him that we were previously scheduled with a different company, but becasue Perry the Plumber could get out sooner, we decided to contract their services. We could have gone with a different company and that if this is how I would be treated as a customer, I could take my business elsewhere. He stated he would just call our home warranty company and let them know that I wanted to go with a different company and proceeded to hang up on my while I was in mid-sentence with him. I never once stated I wanted to cancel my services with them, just informing him that he was not the only option I had. I immediately called home warranty to notify them of how I was being treated as a customer and to discuss the possibility of having another company. They stated that it would probably be the following week before someone could get out to the house and that if we wanted to have the water heater installed that week we would probably need to stay with that company, unfortunently. They contacted Perry the Plumber to ensure we would stay on the schedule. Our scheduled instillation was kept and the water heater was installed Dec 26. The way I was treated as a customer was completely unprofessional especially being as the business hung up on me during our conversation. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
