Beware of the 12-4pm time block. It really means some time after 6pm.

Don't take off of work to wait for them. They might not show up.

Customer service agent was rude and not helpful. They couldn't care less about the customer. Will find a place who does.

We had the worst experience with them. We wanted a dehumidifier installed in our older home to improve the air quality. We were sold on a $3600 proposal where the unit would be located in the mechanical closet. Basically everything went wrong with this project. 1. They sold me a unit that was not the correct capacity for the size and age of the house. Due to the load, its broken down 3x. 2. The install was was not completed according to the proposal. They measured incorrectly and had to take over a second closet to house the unit. Now I have flex duct and the unit sitting on the floor of this other closet. It looks hideous. 3. The digital thermostat they picked out and installed doesn't control the unit. To make it run, I have to crawl into the closet and manually plug it in. The new thermostat was supposed to control the unit. 4. They are not honoring the warranty on the unit or their labor after 9 months of phone calls and return visits. They want another $4800 to fix the problem. But I can start from scratch with a new company and a new unit for the same price. I will never get my $3600 back but at least my nightmare with Perry Aire can be over. You should look elsewhere,

Perry Aire made a simple repair to my furnace to replace the hot surface ignitor. They charged $95 for diagnostics and $256 for the part. While the technician was there I looked up the part online. $17.31 So what is a reasonable markup for a part in this industry? My understanding is that 100% is typical. That makes the part $34.62. But they are charging 1,379%. So I pointed this out to the technician and he said he was charging the book price and if I wanted to discuss it I could call the office. So I did. The woman who answered the phone said the charge for the part includes the labor. Fine. Hourly labor for them is $131. An hour is very generous for this job. So if you subtract out the cost of labor then they are charging $125 for the part. Now the markup is just 622%. I suggested to the office that they may want to charge a more reasonable price for the part but they declined. It's 24 degrees outside so I just paid the bill. Maybe this is considered a reasonable price in the HVAC business around here but I feel like a company that prides itself on reasonable prices could do better.

I gave Perry Aire a chance...then another chance...and I won't ever use them again nor recommend them to anyone.

We had an annual AC maintenance check with Perry Aire. The first technician came and was unable to identify or resolve an issue with our AC system. A second and third Perry Aire technician came out, each finding different and new problems, and after the third left, our AC system BROKE!

Note that this was a simple AC annual maintenance check, yet all three Perry Aire technicians reported different problems with our system. There was no consistent answer, and since there were three technicians who came out, I had to take off work for three total days. This was extremely frustrating, especially since each time, they said that they could not fix the issue and would send someone else out - then, when that follow up technician arrived, they would say that the problem was something else.

We were so frustrated that we called a competitor AC company, and had two separate technicians come out to assess the problem. After a 2nd and a 3rd Air Conditioning expert (both not Perry Aire) examined our AC system (which had been looked at and 'repaired' by Perry Aire just a week earlier), they BOTH stated that Perry Aire had NOT performed the services stated on the ticket (which I showed them), and that they were surprised that any technician would have left our home and charged us the amount that they did.

It would be one thing if Perry Aire had responded promptly and provided satisfactory customer service, but after multiple phone calls and emails, and promises from Perry Aire that they would refund our payments to them, I haven't received any refund (and our amount totaled to over $800) nor any apology. Would not recommend Perry Aire even for a routine maintenance check! You'll get scammed and waste your time AND money!

I don't understand what is happening. I live in Ridge House Condominium 1301 S Arlington Ridge Rd. We have AC not working every other day. To me it is the end of everything such as sleeping, breathing, working. Our condo fees are $ 603 a month just got the very increased and special assessment we are paying is $290 a month and mortgage and taxes. What is happening? Is Perry Aire failed to deliver the work and fix air conditioner or it is our management didn't contact Perry Aire to let them know that unless AC is working, building failed to provide the very minimum such as people to be able to sleep and feel well physically. Today I am unable to sleep it is horrible in our apartment. When I called answering service fpr Perry Aire, they told me that no one call them today from Ridge House. I called today 8 times, left messages no one called me back. Can please someone advise what can be done? I am scared for my life and feel being messed with.

In response to the owner - I am not spreading lies. I did NOT turn anyone away, because no one came to my house. Also, as I stated in my review, I couldn't wait around all day, which is why I gave your company the opportunity to reschedule. I am going to ask YOU to stop lying because no one ever showed up to my house, and you seem to be twisting up the truth to benefit your companies image. So you guys don't do work in the rain, huh.. WHY did you even schedule me?? A courtesy call at the beginning of the day would have gone a long way instead of having me miss work to wait around for a company that doesn't work in the rain. Thanks for nothing, don't call me a liar, and be upfront with your potential customers. You can quickly go out of business if you stop providing the type of service consumers expect.

I've been very happy using Perry aire. They've come out a few times, once for a overall check to make sure things were working properly. Not long after a part went out, and they fixed it, the issues I had been having were fixed and now my bill is much lower because I was blasting the heat in the winter because one of the sensors weren't working properly. Anyway I have a mini split unit and they are authorized repair company of These units. I believe Jeremy (?) is the one that has come out, and he is incredibly nice and always very thorough and knowledgeable about the system. Will keep using them.

I have used Perry Aire years ago for a complicated plumbing heating job. This included installing A/C ductwork, Burhnam boilers, and underfloor Pex piping.

I am going to use them again for an A/C replacement.

Steve Perry the owner is one of the most informed plumbing and electrical contractors I have met.

I highly recommend.

- Very satisfied with Perry Aire's service.
- Needed A/C repair during the summer on the day before a visiting grandmother arrived, when multiple other companies were not able to visit more promptly due to the summer rush
- Also needed the technician to be flexible as I tried to get away from work, through traffic, and back home in time to let him in
- The technician was patient and courteous throughout, and even though he probably had a number of other calls to make, provided service that made us feel like we were the only thing on his plate
- He had our A/C back to operating normally within about an hour, and we had no more worries about dangerously exposing an older family member to the heat!
- A positive experience, and I will call on Steve and Jordan at Perry Aire again for future needs.
