Florian H.I am surprised about the other reviews being poor. I guess only the disappointed reviewers bothered to post a review. Anyway, I had a great experience with them. After my home warranty finally fired advanced heating and cooling they dispatched Perry. An appointment was made for the following day and the technician was on time as scheduled. Jeremy was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He diagnosed the problem in no time, replaced the part and had my heat up and running again. He even identified a part that was about to fail, received approval from the home warranty company to replace it as well and took care of it. That's what I call fantastic service.
I would definitely use them again and will request them in case I have another service call.
Jeremy B.I set up an appointment for someone from this company to come to my house to give me an estimate on adding ductless air conditioning. Even though they agreed to come at 8am the following week I still had to juggle my work schedule significantly (I don't mind doing this, just saying it took effort). The day before the appointment they called to cancel and promised to call again to set up a new appointment. I have not heard from them. If you have a tight schedule don't bother with this company.
Second time we have called this company to our Corporate offices to address an issue with our paint booth. This time was the heater; when the very young technician came out he spent the first 40 minutes saying we needed an estimate to replace it (it is a 25 year old lumbering giant) without even looking at it. Then he said that it was installed wrong because there was no ducting and I had to explain to him the concept of heat transference. He said that we had to CUT A HOLE IN THE SIDE OF OUR PAINT BOOTH (which we did). Then he FINALLY went in the unit for all of about 20 minutes, said the inducer was bad and needed an estimate for replacement. And here is the kicker...THEN SENT US A BILL FOR $486. We needed a welder to repair the UNNECCESSARY HOLE IN THE WALL. And when we disputed it they basically said tough. So think LONG AND HARD if you want a company to come out and DO MORE DAMAGE, not repair anything and to charge you a ridiculous amount.
We lost heat in our home from our combined Heil Heat Pump/Carrier 9200 furnace.
I found Perry Aire through the Heil main office in Tennessee. Perry quickly gave us an appointment early the next day.
Perry Aire's tech, Nelson, was top notch. He was on time, most pleasant and helpful, quickly diagnosing that our problem was in a condensation collector back-up which had triggered a cut-off sensor, shutting down the furnace. He cleaned the Carrier system, cleared the condensation line and explained how the Carrier furnace works with our new heat pump when the outdoor temperature falls below 40 degrees. He also checked our thermostat settings.
Perry's pricing was most reasonable in the context of our experience in this service sector.
