I was knee-deep in a Condominium kitchen remodel project with only 6 days to complete it before needing to return to the mainland. I called Chris and he was incredibly friendly and responsive on the phone. He just had a cancellation and could come out on the exact day I needed him to reroute a hot water heater. Chris and his crew were quick, hard-working and highly professional. He also found a suspicious fissure in an old water supply line and repaired that as well. Chris and his team kept a very tidy workspace and charged very reasonable rates. I'm pretty sure I stumbled into the best plumber on Maui. Highly recommend Perrin Plumbing!

This is actually my third time at two different homes that I have worked with Perrin Plumbing. Each time I worked with the Owner, Chris Perrin. The first was a condo that needed a new on demand water heater installed and a small 28 gal removed. It had to be inspected per HOA rules. Is passed and the work was complemented on by the inspector. At that Condo we also needed the sink moved from the wall 12 feet to a new counter to face the ocean. This required all new piping and drains and a new dishwasher and air gap install. . At This house we had a poor solar set up and four failing valves to be replaced. I had sent him pic s of problem areas and he came with all proper valves and piping. Plus an extra relief valve, just in case. And in fact, we did need it. Now we are back on track and everyone will get a hot shower. And we added on 2 new angle valves under our kitchen sink that controlled water flow to the refer for ice maker and cold drinking water. So he fixed that while he was here. I had one final question on settings next day and Chris answered my text with a call and clearly answered my question. On a Saturday morning! Now that's a great response to a customer. Perrin Plumbing was sent through Lowe's to do an initial assessment then removal/installation of a new water heater. Chris is a knowledgeable professional. Both he and his assistant were courteous and friendly. Clean work ethics leaving no mess behind. I would use them again if ever needed. I highly recommend Perrin Plumbing services.

We recently moved to Maui and purchased a newer constrution. However, there were a few things that needed replacing and repair already from the original builders. I had Chris Perrin out for numerous projects, including adding whole house water filtration systems, replacing toilets and faucets, and installing a garbage disposal. Chris is extremely professional and knowledgeable, and his work is clean and meticulous. That't really hard to find for a plumber. Chris spends the extra time to make sure the plumbing is lined up perfectly and functions properly. With the whole house water filtration system, he had to install new pipes and valves. The plumbing functions better than the original placed by the builder 7 years ago. I highly recommend Perrin Plumbing for all you plumbing needs.

I want to preface this by clarifying that this review is not about any services received, as, unfortunately, we never got to that. I first contacted Perrin Plumbing via e-mail on June 20th to inquire about having a tune-up done on my water heater. Chris replied the same day saying that he had work scheduled through the 30th, but if any time opened up he would let me know. I agreed and said that if I had my water heater serviced before then I would let him know. We both did not contact each other after that. On November 13th, I sent Chris a follow-up e-mail saying that I put off my water heater tune-up because Hawaii Energy extended the offered credit into next year, but that I'd like to get it done in the next month if he had any opens. Three days later, he replied apologizing for missing my e-mail and to let me know that he could service my heater in the next month. I replied asking what date and times worked for him, and we agreed on December 1st. I e-mailed on the 19th to ask what time worked for him, and followed-up again on the 23rd to confirm a time. To date, I have not heard back from him. December 1st is in three days and he still hasn't confirmed a time with me, so I decided to go with another plumbing company. I really wanted to use Perrin Plumbing because he has such excellent reviews on Yelp, and I wanted to support a smaller business. I'm sure that he is great at what he does, and he is very pleasant in our e-mail correspondence, but my water heater is acting up something awful and I just can't wait on him. My three-star rating is a reflection of the lack of communication and the long wait time for a response.

I've used Perrin plumbing a couple times. Every experience I've had with Chris and his employees has been excellent. Great work at a fair price. Significantly less than other plumbing companies on island.

Came to my home and fixed another companys plumbing problem. They charge me 1/2 of what maui plumbers wanted. They did leave a little mess but i cleaned it up.
