Recommended Customer Reviews

Have to echo other reviews, plumber was very professional, but the price far surpassed what was reasonable. $385 to unclog the drain on a sink is excessive. The job took around 30 minutes start to finish.

Had to shut off water to the house on the first day of the storm. Called Perot because he is local and I'd rather give my business to the local guy. Told us we were on his list for service in two days. Tried to call for confirmation or updates without success. Finally-by luck- got ahold of him on the afternoon of our call day. He knew absolutely nothing about our call and plainly had not calendared it. He wanted me to email him and plainly was going to shuffle our call to the end of the deck despite being misled and despite being local. Plainly overwhelmed. Use someone else.

We replaced flooring and had to remove the commode. We had Perot to re-install the commode and replace all internal parts which we had bought from Kohler. The job took about 30 minutes. He charged us $490 which we felt outrageous.

Our bathroom had a leaking toilet at the base and a leaky faucet so we called Perot Plumbing out to repair it. Plumber showed up on-time, was very courteous and repaired the leak.
Reason for the low rating was that I was charged $471 for a quick 30 minute repair that after calling around should have been $150-170 to repair. The plumber also used a nickel as a shim to balance the toilet when there are proper plumbing shims that should have been applied.
The plumber said he couldn't fix the faucet because he'd have to shut off the water and search around for the correct the gasket from the manufacturer.
We then had to call a second plumber out who fixed the faucet with a simple hose gasket in about 5 minutes. The plumber also told us we were ripped off for the toilet repair.
I felt the plumber took advantage of us by charging 2-3 times than what was fair and should have at least attempted to fix the faucet since it was an easy job. In total, we ended up paying more than $600 for what should have been $150-170 job.

Chris was prompt, honest, personable, clean and efficient. What more can you ask for from a plumber? I mean, besides the reasonable price we got?
I'd give him more stars if I could because the man keeps a very clean and organized van.

I absolutely hate using one of those overpriced "call center" plumbing companies - you know the ones who do everything from lawn maintenance to roof jobs and flood the TV with their ads! So I got a bid from Perot's because they are a small Mom-and-Pop.
Chris' bid to replace a leaking water supply line from the meter to the house was the lowest of three bids, with the highest being $1,300 more! While I had not used him before, glad I did. He did a great job, and did it and finished it when he said he would. Will definitely use him again.

I'm happy to have found this guy. Chris Perot turned out to be a good, caring plumber - like in the old days. He's an independent plumber with his own stocked van. He answered his own phone, came out quick, and fixed all my small problems right away (a kitchen drainline stoppage, and a leaking pipe). He is coming back later to fix a broken shower knob. He knows his craft well, and does neat work. Reasonable prices also.

Chris saved the day. We had a pipe bust in our wall and he was able to fix it quickly and efficiently. He was my savior, because not having running water with kids is awful. Thank you Chris!!!!

Chris and his crew are great.... After being run thru the gantlet with stories and excuses on why our sewer seemed to keep backing up and, having the old plumber who has been with us for over 50 yrs not show up. Was out twice in 3 months . I decided to call Chris he answered the phone himself and after explaining my issues said he was on a big job but would get back with me the next day. At 7:00pm he called me back and asked if it was to late to come over, said he could be here in 15-20 minutes. We walked around and he explained what was going on and what it would take to fix the issues at hand. His pricing was reasonable. He is a great guy who was very professional along with his crew. they fixed our problem and then some. Cleaned up and not only did a small job for a neighbor but called us back the next week to check and see if all was ok and that we were happy. I would strongly recommend Chris Perot Plumbing to anyone in need of a honest and good plumber.

Extremely professional and responsive to a water leak emergency on a Sunday evening! Patiently explained the problem. The cost was lower than expected considering it was a Sunday evening when others would have charged more and taken advantage of the situation. Highly recommend!!
