This is SO frustrating! Had three appointments scheduled. First one they didn't show but charged my card $50. Called back repeatedly and finally got a new appointment scheduled. Again, a no show. Third time, ANOTHER NO SHOW. I called THREE times and each time the answer was "" I do apologize but we can't get ahold of the person coming so we aren't sure."" I sat around THREE different days waiting. THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were to work on my basement on9/6/17 I removed 2 feet of drywall along my walls and moved the washer and dryer, removed a sink in the garage as agreed for them to start there work they didn't show up. I called customer derive they said my backup date was 10/30/17. Customer service was to make another appointment at my convince but no call yet. The person who responded to my wife's review said he tried to contact us many times the Friday before but he left no messages on or phone to contact them. If this same person says they did leave a message I will call them a liar

EDITED SINCE ORIGINAL POST:

The sales consultant was timely and informative. I appreciated the level of detail and communication.

PermaSeal dictates the date and time of day for installation; there was very little client consideration in selecting an installation date and time. They assigned me a date approximately one month out. Five days before installation they emailed a confirmation and at Noon the day before they called to confirm the estimated arrival time, which was between 8-9am the following day. Then, at 6pm (so six hours after confirming and 14 hours before the job was to start) they called to say they no longer had a technician available and needed to reschedule for two days later.

PermaSeal is part of a larger renovation project and I had coordinated three other vendors and deliveries around them, plus I'll be out of town during the suggested reschedule date. I explained this to a Customer Service and she said there's nothing she could do and that a Manager would call me ""later that night"" or ""first thing in the morning."" (Come to find out in a subsequent conversation that was a disingenuous statement, as the Manager wouldn't return until 9am the next day.)

I spoke with a different Customer Service rep this morning and she was AMAZING. She was helpful, solution-focused and honest. She got a crew to my house close to the originally scheduled time. The technicians were on time and professional. I give the Customer Service rep and the technicians five stars.

I give PermaSeal overall three stars for the ack of client consideration in scheduling. (EDIT: THE MANAGER CALLED THIS MORNING. SHE APOLOGIZED FOR THE DELAY AND EXPLAINED THAT HER STAFF DID NOT LET HER KNOW THEY TOLD ME SHE WOULD CALL. SHE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND GRACIOUS, AND I REALLY APPRECIATED THE CALL.)

Very poor customer service. Left an e-mail request for an evaluation 10 days ago with no reply, so called today and was told it would be 5 weeks before they could schedule a call! So I called their #1 competitor (you know who) and they will be here tomorrow afternoon. 'Nuff said.

The product is good but the customer service is frustratingly bad. They provide a service window but that doesn't mean someone will actually show up at all or within that service window. The excuse is always a scheduling mix up in the office. This happened to us three times. Last week, they showed up 20 minutes late, but twice before they didn't show up at all. So think twice about these folks before you take off work or ruin a Saturday.

We asked for an estimate and never received one, nor were my two attempts to follow-up with our consultant returned. This person was not nearly as 'salesman-y' as another major waterproofing company (who needless to say we did not go with). +1 for the reading material they provided and having someone come out during the agreed-upon window. The packet of info mailed to us was almost excessive in the quantity of printed material (trees!), but there was no estimate inside. When I tried to inquire, one time being that I left a voicemail through their customer service line, no one returned our call.
I can't speak to their work crews or process, or cleanliness or thoroughness, because we weren't followed up with.

They came out and unplugged our sump pump without our knowledge- to plug in their equipment. We found out AFTER our crawl space flooded and they denied everything! Extremely unethical company.

We have been experiencing water leakage in the basement, which has become progressively worse over the last few years. I finally called Perma-Seal after hearing one of their commercials. Jorge Paredes arrived at my house as scheduled. Jorge was very friendly and quickly identified the solution to my water leakage problem and offered a very nice discount on the price. He also inspected the sump pump, which we also decided to replace. I am quite happy to have selected Perms-Seal and met Jorge.
