We had A/C issue, so we called. They came the same day to look at, he gave me the list of what's wrong. It was approx. $4000 to fix it, so he recommend me to replace whole unit, which cost $6000. We had a feeling we are getting rip off, so we called another company for 2nd opinion. We were right. It was totally rip off. We showed the list of what's wrong and estimate to fix. 2nd company told me many company tell you to scare that house might burn down so we should fix it immediately or replace it. We paid the 2nd company $300 to fix, out the door. Performance AC is very business oriented and money hungry company, I would say. They might do good job, but I just don't want to pay for unnecessary stuffs or over-pay.

This company scams seniors and unknowledgeable home owners. Don't fall for there high price unnecessary service contracts or unneeded """"black box surge protectors."""" My 80 year old neighbor was taken for over $2400 for a one hour service call to """"restart system"""". Beware! Beware! Beware!

0.0 star rating 11/7/2017 I am ONLY giving 1 star because I have to, if I could, I would give NEGATIVE 5 stars. This company is terrible. I paid $124.00 for nothing, The guy who was here took about 2 minutes just for the """"consultation"""".1 minute just for him to tell me that he couldn't drain the pipes that connected to the washing machine, supposedly because the pipes could break. Which is BS because we have had it done in the past no problem! Not only that but he said to drain them it would an extra $500!!!!!They told me they would charge ONLY IF they were going to do the service.They also had coupons online that you could print out so you get a discount off.He didn't accept it because it """"depends"""" on the job. It never specified that on there.The person who came was unprofessional for the job as well as the company, but oh very professional to charge me. It was a total of two minutes when he came.1. for just taking """"a look"""" literally at it, and the other to charge me.

Outrageous prices, inaccurate diagnosis, left in worse condition, not professional, etc., steer clear. A tech from Performance came out to fix a pin hole leak in water line, cut in the in 2 sections, and called me to say it's not repairable. He claimed the pipe fell apart in his hands. Wanted to re-plumb the 2 bathroom house for $16,000. I asked how many people and how many days are you assuming he replied 2 people, 2 days all in PEX. I said no and fixed it myself for about $100 in parts.

Once they get your signature and initial payment....sign you up and sell you a unit, it takes approximately 8 months where they stop responding to your emails and phone calls and all together stop responding back in a timely manner unless it involves them making money. I bought a very expensive unit , spent 14k+ on the unit, and tried to get them to be responsive and contact us. They have actually ended up coming to the house and shocking several boards (on accident) and causing very big delays in fixing, over 5 days to fix the boards and left us AC'less over the weekend. I had to purchase an extra AC window unit for reliability since they are rather unreliable at fixing their own Trane units. They have consistently failed to contact us responsibly upon request and we believe that the service has seriously gone down hill. They will then try to get you on a monthly plan in which they charge you monthly.

Worst company ever. They lie to you about when a tech will be out and then reschedule on you and make up excuses while you sit in a 90 degree house. What a joke. A couple of hours means a couple of days.

They're scammers, stay away. If you do decide to make the bad decision of calling them, don't sign up for their stupid club, and definitely get other estimates. So here is what happened: my air handler was leaking. The tech came out and told me he didn't really know why but my coils were dirty and that might fix the problem. That would have cost me $800. BTW, saying """"the coils are dirty"""" seems to be their signature line after reading other reviews. Anyway, I ended getting suckered into joining there club. The tech told me I could cancel anytime, which isn't the case, but I took care of that little issue a different way. I decided to get another opinion on the matter. The second company I called said my coils were fine, showed me the problem, fixed the problem, showed me how to avoid it in the future, and charged $130. Like I said, STAY AWAY!

If they offered 0 star I would have given them that. SCAMMERS Over charge and don't do the work correctly. If your a Ex customer of JDK Air(who Air Performance bought) Find someone else, this is not by far the same service you were used to with JDK

Stay away. I had my central air conditioner serviced on 08/01/2017. The tech said the unit was fine, Needed a new part, okay cool. 08/04/2017. Compressor blew up. I guess it was old, stated another tech. Wires were cut or not hooked up right. Should have read reviews first.

I have a two yr old Bryent central air system. On the 5th of July it stoped working. I called Performance and they came. First he checked the air filter and determined it needed to be changed. I went to get one. I feel this was a mistake as when I returned I got hit with a 765.oo Charge. He told me that i did NOT have a breaker out side by my AC. If I HAD this breaker I would get the parts money( from Bryent) off the Bill. He then tried to sell me a breaker so I would not get stuck again. I could NOT afford that so I declined. After he left I discovered that I DO HAVE A BREAKER! It is part of Code! Now I can't say for truth, BUT I can't help but wonder IF it was just the outside breaker and the rest is fucking me good! I was stupid and went to get the filter so I will never know. He gave me picture he calms are before and after? I don't know the difference of either one The repair guy gave me paper work that states POSSIBLE hit by surge! He says that my Bryent coverage will NOT cover a """"ACT OF GOD"""" I see this in my owners manual. BUT he said """" POSSIBLE"""" That means POSSIBLE NOT TOO!
