Unbelievable! Stay away from these these guys.
Summary of the service: Shower faucet was leaking. The guy damaged the shower faucet trim trying to remove it. Opened the faucet and couldn't put it back together. I helped him with that. He put it back together and now the faucet leaks in the wall. He left with the water shut off. Put together a bunch of lies to the home warranty company and blamed it on me.
And the details ... These guys were assigned to fix a shower leak through a home warranty service. First they called me and I asked for an afternoon appointment. A week went by and nothing from them. I called the home warranty company and they called them again and finally setup and appointment.
The guy came in today. He struggled quite a bit trying to remove the shower faucet trim. In doing that he scratched the trim quite a bit. He finally got to the faucet and opened it and a bunch of parts popped out. He then assembled the parts incorrectly trying to put everything back together. I told him a few times how to do it but he argued for his way. Turned the water back on and water coming out of everything he touched and the faucet handle is not doing anything. He finally listened to me and assembled it the right way and installed it. Now the handle works again, the original leak is there of course, and the value is leaking in the wall. When I showed him the leak he tried to convince me that it was there before which is nonsense. Then he said he has to talk to the home warranty company. Came back, collected the $65 fee and said you'll receive a call. He left with water shut off to the whole home and did not come back.
The home warranty company called me and said they reported that the customer has removed the cartridge and damaged it so the whole valve has to be replaced and they have to open the wall from the back to do it. A bunch of lies. I opened the faucet and assembled it the correct way. The problems that this guy created are fixed now and I am back at square one with a leaky shower.
This technician had no idea what is going on. Opened and closed the faucet and did not have a clue what part needs to be replaced. Damaged stuff and left us with no water.
Thank god I am handy and I could bring things back to where it was before they came into my home. Stay away from them.
I HATE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are rude, they lie and they get away with it through AMERICAN HOME SHIELD (ANOTHER HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!). I've had an open work order for the past 3 weeks. Kitchen & laundry room electrical goes in & out. He came out on 4/11 and said he needed to order a part. On 4/18, I still hadn't received a phone call from him so i called. He said he's STILL waiting for the part. Ok, whatever. On 4/20 he called to make an appointment on 4/27 because the part was in. He ALSO told me to call PG&E before he got there to shut off power & ""pull the breaker box"" so we did. On 4/27 he never showed up. I called him, NO answer. I then called AHS (they suck) and they got a hold of Bob. He said he never made an appointment & hasn't even received the part!!!!!! UGH! I'm heated at this point. I asked AHS to switch vendors because this is ridiculous. They told me they couldn't because the work order was open. I explained how Bob's a liar and I've had problems with him on other properites. Do you think they care? NO! I explained how the power has been out and how electrical cords have been running from the living room to the kitchen just so the fridge can stay on. They said ""I'll make a report about the vendor"" YA RIGHT! I cancelled the work order and found someone else to fix it in less than 4 hours. Bob's an asshole & a liar. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They were sent out to me to handle a home warranty repair and I've been calling them to get status for 2 weeks now. No one bothers to answer the phone or call back. Finally got a hold of someone by the name of Jeff. He was a total douche and unprofessional. I told him I had called numerous times and left messages and no one called back. His response was ""yea yea well what do you need?"" I called the warranty company and notified them of the situation. I will also file a formal complaint with bbb. As far as Jeff, I'm not sure what his problem is or what his role is. He is just bitter. I think he's just a scheduler/call taker but he needs some customer service skills.
I dont know where to begin. This company has been the worst experience I have ever had.
To begin with , My water heater was leaking and I turned off the valve myself just be on the safer side and asked AHS to send someone. The sent someone from this company and he suggested that I should keep the valve open and that he has checked and everything is fine. At 2:00 AM in the night we realized My heater leaked and there was flood in my garage , my basement as well as the adjacent townhouse. I had to call the flood insurance guys and remove my whole flooring etc etc. And now when I contact this company :
1) They shut me out as if they dont care and give a damn to whats happened in my house. I wasnt even asking for money but this guy at the front desk gives me this attitude ""Talk to my supervisor"" who apparently didnt call back that day
2) The next day when I called, I am told the water heater replacement would be done on Wed between 11 to 2 . I had a Doc Appt and I told him that , to this he said Well if water heater is not important to you then we will do it following week.. After me missing office on Monday , dealing with all the insurance stuff .. Paying 2000$ for my insurance deductible for something that was their mistake they had the guts to tell me this.
3) On top of all this every time i called they treated like it was I am a customer they dont care and that I was bothering them by calling. So much so for the customer service.
I am so furious and I feel so cheated that it feels you cant trust anyone now a days.
I wish they would understand that owning up to your mistake makes you a bigger person.
My advice please refrain from using them and save yourself trouble.
I have also requested AHS to remove them for further services at least to my house
This is by far the The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in all my years. They charged me for a service and did not complete it, their unprofessionalism exceeds anything I've ever encountered. They tell you to call and schedule appointment but the mailbox is Full. The service people are almost scary to the point I told The warranty company I don't want them back in my home. I would not use these people for anything at all.
I cannot believe they are in business. This is Better Business Bureau stuff. I mean they are awful!!!!!
And they are LIARS. The worst!
Robert F.I felt compelled to write this review both by the service I received as well as noticing all of the negative comments about this company.
Our background story was that we have a European shower which was not working correctly we had two other companies sent by the home warranty service. The first company flaked out on us, came, collected their $125 copay and then after several weeks never got back to us. The second company, to their credit, came, also collected their co-pay and proceeded to tell us that it was not in their expertise to repair this style plumbing, I do appreciate their honesty.
The third plumber was Performance Electrical Company which the home warranty people sent to us, at first it took them a while to get back to us which made me a little worried so I started to check them out on yelp and several other services. I was very amazed to see all of the negative comments listed especially on yelp. I became very worried and contacted the warranty company who assured us that these people were experts in the style of plumbing that we had. To make a long story short when the gentleman showed up to our house, he not only fix the plumbing but did it in a cheerful and professional manner, I was extremely impressed at how well he worked and how fast he did the job, it was late on a rainy night and he stayed very late to make sure the job was completed correctly, I have to tell you that I have no negative comments to say about this company and would recommend them highly from my experience.

Not customer friendly.
They don't follow up with their delayed problems. I end up having to call them instead, week after week for 2 months. Their excuses for these delays: have other customers so we forgot about you, the orders have yet gone through (after two weeks of waiting), I lost your paper in my office so I will look for it tomorrow etc.
Worst of all, they set an appointment with me to finally fix my home issue but never showed up. I called an hour later to find out what happened. the guy who picked up the phone asked for my address instead of my confirmation number, (3 times he did that with my previous calls), put me on hold, and then came back to me tell me they never had an appointment set for me. He then got angry, asking why I am just calling now when the appointment was an hour ago. I told him I know how ""busy"" they are with other customers. Instead of telling him to check my confirmation number, I ended my business with them. Waste of my money to have them check my home issue just for them to do nothing but make me wait for them.
These guys are a fraud! They were sent to our home by our home warranty company, American home shield( another worst company)
Performance said our water heater needed a part so they will be back with it. Till today, which is over a month ago, they are not even reachable! Zero customer service !
Total fraud!
This company is truly unbelievable. I don't know how they stay in business. Their talent at shamelessly lying has no equal. Because my home warranty contracts plumbing repairs through them exclusively, I had no choice. If you do, do yourself a tremendous favor and take the advice of every legitimate review here on Yelp and call anyone else. You will spare yourself endless grief.
This contractor was assigned to our property through American Home Shield. The problem they were called out to service was never fixed, sending us in a (so far) endless loop of technicalities and a faucet that I cannot use. When I contacted AHS to recall this vendor they said my account was ""red flagged"" and they don't want to service our address because we've caused them too much trouble. WHAT? I'm sorry, if the problem isn't solved, it's not the customer that is the problem! Now I have to wait in queue to have another (and hopefully more reputable considering the outcome) plumber to do the job right.
