This company is a fraud, sent to me as a plumber but clearly had no idea. If you are unlucky to use First American Home Warranty I recommend you refuse to use this contractor.

First American Home Warranty sent this ""Plumber"" to my house, the technician arrived and did not make any attempt to fix my issue.

Saw backed up pipes and guessed that roots were growing into pipes and couldn't help, his advice, ""hire a plumber"" absolutely no attempt to fix the issue. A ""plumber"" was gored 2 days later and found a simple blockage that needed to be cleared.

First American Home warranty assigned Performance Electrical to work on an electrical issue at my rental property. I was assured Performance Electrical would contact me within 48 hours. Five days later I called the warranty company and was advised they had reached out to Performance Electrical and were told they would contact me on Friday, five days after the initial contact. I was then told they would not be able to make it out to the rental property for an additional two weeks. I asked why it took five days to contact me instead of the stated 48 hours they were supposed to contact me? and was provided no answer. I then asked if there was any way of expediting the appointment instead of waiting the two weeks? I was then abruptly told do you want the appointment or not!!! To which I replied no thanks. I do not understand why First American contracts with substandard companies, who lack professionalism and obviously aren't organized and can't handle the workload. If your considering using this company, do yourself a favor and seek a professional company that can handle the workload as well as takes prid in customer service.

I was assigned this company by First American Home Warranty for some electrical issues. I saw a lot of negative reviews about this company before they came out and was terrified of what I might encounter, but I had a very pleasant experience. They called very quickly to schedule an appointment and had availability the same week. I had a conflict so I had to reschedule, which they did quickly and worked around my schedule. Jeff came out and was very friendly. It ended up being a very simple fix, but he was honest and did not try to squeeze more money out of me. He also gave me some tips on another issue I was experiencing that I had not made a claim on, and I was able to follow his directions and fix it myself.

I felt that I need to leave this review due to the fine service (afraid not) received, American home warranty dispatched this not so fine company to repair our water heater, We received an appointment for a Thursday a week from when we called, well Thursday came and 10 min before the end of the time window we received a call from performance advising us that there tech had an emergency breathing issue due to all the smoke from the fires in our area, we were rescheduled for the following Thursday. well the following Thursday comes the tech shows up and says yup you need a water heater, good and fine we are rescheduled to the next Thursday. do we see a pattern here oh and no hot warer now for 2 weeks and being scheduled out another. well the third Thursday comes and again we receive a call the tech is running behind. well no show. we call and are then scheduled for the following Thursday well that was yesterday and we had an appointment between 12 and 4 needless to say I called performance
at 3:40 pm and was told the tech was running behind but he was on his way to our home, again this is 4 weeks with no hot water cold showers and doing dishes and laundry in cold water. long and short at 6:10 pm I called they were closed and still no technician. I left a stern but still fairly pleasant voice mail. I received a call this morning from performance and advised them there service was no longer needed and that I needed a refund of the deductible I had paid on the first visit, the young lady said they just noiticed that there tech had never came to our home and he was going to be fired. mind you this is 4 times they dropped the ball and even when asked why we could not get expedited service we were pushed out a week every time even thru no fault of ours. Sorry performance as a previous business owner this is not how you do business, with out customers you have no business and with what I have experienced I am very surprised your doors are still open and you have clients like American home warranty, shame on you for a lack of performance and not putting the customer first. I would ask if the owner would put up with the living conditions we have endured with 6 people in our home and no hot water. I am sure he would be furious as I am. so be ware of this one star company and the stress and crap you will endure if you are so inclined to use there less than professional less than performance company....6 very dissatisfied customers.......

Beware! If I could give this company a negative 100 in stars, I would! This company are crooks! First American Home Warranty sent this worthless company to my house. What a joke. They lyed to the insurance company telling them the work wasn't covered after they told me it was a small part that needed to be replace and it was an easy fix as well as covered through the home warranty. They took my $75.00 didn't complete their job. The secretary lady is as rude as they come too. What a joke! Jim is the leader for the lyers in this company!

This company came out on a First American (FA) Home Warranty issue regarding particles coming out of our water heater. They are the most unprofessional company I have dealt with. After being unresponsive for weeks, I found out they told FA the problem was solved, but told us something completely different. I spoke to ""Bob"" to find out why we were told something different. He became defensive and said it wasn't their problem any longer, when last week he told me he was going to follow up with the water heater manufacturer. Then today he flat out lied to me and said he hadn't. He actually said to me, ""I don't want to talk to you anymore!"" Very rude and unprofessional. I would rather pay an additional service visit to another company than have Performance Electric come back out. This company deserves to go out of business! If I could give them zero stars I would because they don't even deserve one. I would highly suggest you go elsewhere for your plumbing or electrical needs.

I thought I was going to have to make a really significant case here but I guess several other people have shared my experiences. This company was assigned to me for some reason through my home warranty company. They're located quite far away from my home so this came as a bit of a surprise, but the dispatcher was incredibly unprofessional. It seems she had a difficult time understanding basic instructions and had difficulty with both note taking and communicating where my case was concerned so details were missed, resulting in a missed appointment. When I followed up I was told my appointment was canceled although they never managed to show up at my house. I'm seeing now that this was for the best and I clearly dodged a bullet. I'm sure there are other companies that are more deserving of your time and money.

I was hoping I could have searched their rating on Yelp before I got assigned this company to me.
Dealing with this company is so different compared to other companies because you are not getting a service but instead you get a Boss. The boss does not care at all what pressing issue you got, they just want to collect the money. They are always busy and does not have time to fix your problem. You really have to ask them to make a time from their busy schedule and if that happens to conflict with your schedule. Oh no! How dare you dont make time for your boss? I am sorry guys the boss will be very angry and does not want to schedule one more time.

I was assigned to them through my Home Warranty Company. The lady who picked the phone was rude and pathetic. First, she took a week since my warrant company ordered the service to call me to schedule an appointment for appliance install. When I called her myself , she said I have to wait until she calls me to schedule - really!! do I have to wait for a week to fix schedule? A week later she calls and puts me on for next week. Now just a day before a technician is supposed to come, she calls and says she has double booked the technician so he can only come 4 days later. Finally after 20 days when the guy shows up he says he is plumber and can't do the electrical connections that are needed for installation. Not that he cannot do, but his company doesn't do electrical for my warranty company.So I wasted 20 days and at the end the company didn't do a nil! I eventually called another technician myself and he came and fixed it in 30 min the very next day.
Very pathetic experience with scheduling staff, technician and in vernal their no respect for customers time and need.

Terrible customer service. We had an appt with Shane, between 2-5. My husband took a half day off of work to be here for him. He never showed up nor did anyone call us to reschedule. When I finally called them at 5:00 the office was closed down they all went home and they weren't even apologetic or concerned. It's the next day and nobody has called me to reschedule. I'm going elsewhere! I accidentally tapped a star and yelp won't let me untap it. They don't even deserve 1 star.
