Very expensive and unprofessional! Don't use them you will regret! A lot of nice promises, but they don't do the work how it's supposed to be in charge you crazy money.
Beware - an obvious problem was incorrectly assessed which led to high-cost unnecessary pump replacement and service manager refused to refund money for their error.
Basement toilet would not flush. Called Perfect Home Services to fix the situation. Technician (note the company will sometimes refer to these technicians as sales reps, which may explain why this happened to us) assessed the problem as a faulty sewage ejector pump (even though it was still kicking on). He claimed it was a problem with the activator switch; however, never pulled the pump from the pit. Recommended install of entire new ejector pump. I was unable to be present the day the installation was performed due to work obligations and feel that the company took advantage of the situation to explain the repair recommendation to my pregnant wife. Proceeded with install per recommendations and two-man installation came to property. Next use of toilet resulted in sewage backing up into the basement from the floor drain. Perfect Home Services returned to house to resolve the problem. Upon opening the sewage pit under my direct observation, it was noticed immediately that there was a blockage at the end of the sewer drain pipe in the pit. This blockage was partially hanging out of the pipe - how could this have missed! We feel as if we are m a victim of an opportunity to immorally upsell a client. Perfect Home Services rodded out the blockage in a matter of minutes and the system is currently working. There was no need for a several thousand-dollar replacement of the pump.
Upon discussing with the service manager (Joe), he attempted first to explain to me why I was not right -assuming I knew nothing about sewer systems. However, I am a licensed engineer in multiple states and have knowledge of these systems. He had several false claims for reasons why this situation was not their fault during my conversation with him. One example of this fallacy tactic was that pit was filled with water. However, this was not possible because there is an overflow into the sump pit. When I explained the overflow, he tried fear - claiming that our plumbing is not to code. In the city of Chicago, it is a combined sewer system, meaning that sewage and rainwater all go into the same pipe in the street. Joe also offered to pull new pump out of the pit which would leave us with no sewage ejection because Perfect Home Services hauled off the old pump the prior day - such a generous offer. When Joe offered us a tiny portion of the total bill back as refund, he stated that he needed to get approval for a refund. Joe refused to put me in touch with his supervisor or even supply a name. Later in the day he informed me that he makes all the decisions regarding refunds and must also do so for custom service inquires. Bottom line, we were lied to throughout the process.
We had a good experience once before with this company and left a glowing google review for HVAC services. Hence, Perfect Home Services got the call first to fix our toilet this time. However, this is probably the worst customer service experience we have ever had, and we will never contract with them again. The costs associated with the sewage ejector pump should have been refunded because that was the right thing to do. When given the opportunity to make the situation right, we were only met with obstacles and excuses.
I had Perfect Home install a new furnace and a/c in my home. I couldn't be happier with the service, speed and professionalism. Their salesman Jake took time to explain the different options and really took into consideration my family needs. Having a young child with medical issues and severe allergies was a huge concern of mine. He explained all the options for cleaner air and it together a package we couldn't pass on. I would recommend them to everyone.
Michelle F.I decided to try Perfect Home Services recently, as a friend told me about them. We have used a different hvac company in the past that we really liked, but gave Perfect a call when our furnace was making a really loud noise recently and we got the recommendation for them.
Perfect was able to come out the next night, which was already a plus - I feel like I already have to make work schedule adjustments often enough for doctor appointments, pet vet appointments, car appointments, etc (you know, life!) that it was a relief to not have to re-arrange my work schedule to get our noisy furnace checked out.
The technician that came out was very patient and informative, and after checking out the inside of the furnace and identifying the issue, gave us multiple possible options for how to resolve it, which I appreciate. I like understanding all of my options before parting with my hard-earned cash. I also appreciated his chill vibe, which puts me at ease when a stranger is in my home. Plus, customer service was communicative throughout the booking and scheduling process.
I would definitely use Perfect Home again because the experience felt easy, comfortable, and overall very accommodating to me as a customer.
Jacob and Ricky replaced my new system. I would recommend to anyone!
They came to convert hot and cold water lines from a tub configuration to a shower only configuration..Remove water lines that feed the tub...When new water fixtures were installed..I could hear water dripping in the walls..
Lucky for me ...I had access to plumbing from the other wall and did not need tear down the new tile . After cutting out a piece of drywall.. we could see they never soldered/capped one of the copper lines.. I found the copper cap inside the drywalls..The company came out today to inspect their work.
They are claiming because I soldered the copper pipe that they can't tell if they are responsible !!
WTF??
I Left the drywall open for them them to inspect their work...
What a scam company.. don't use them
Daniel K.Perfect home services will push unnecessary products on you and will NEVER EVER make an appointment on time. They're scheduling staff have been caught in lies to me about their tardiness and they didn't know what to say. DO NOT TRUST THEM. EVER. I cannot say enough bad things about them. NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS!!!
Danielle S.I absolutely believe that they don't repair anything and just take advantage of people by saying they need new equipment. Totally gross especially because we needed help during covid and they still took advantage of us
Just awful. Customer service is terrible. Technicians were no-shows for two scheduled appointments. When we called the office we were told that more important things than routine maintenance calls come up. Never again. Called a competitor and they were out on time, as scheduled, no excuses and did great work.
They came by and said we needed a new furnace. I got someone over to quote a price that night. Both the technician and the salesperson were very professional and kind. The following day, they came to do the installation and they did a great job, very thorough. We were impressed.
They were supposed to follow up with a plumber to fix another issue we paid for. They were supposed to call and check up on the installation the following day to take care of a $49 payment. They didn't make this call nor did they schedule the plumber. I have called 4 times since, different people, and have been unsuccessful in getting anyone to resolve this issue.
Very poor customer service.
