About 20 years ago, we were waiting for a taxi to pick us up for a ride to the airport at the start of our vacation. Suddenly, water started running out of the garage. I turned the water off, flew off for our vacation, and while there, made long distance arrangements to have the water heater replaced on our return.

Now, 20 years later, my wife came home and saw water all over the garage. I called a friend and asked about a plumber. She gave me the number for People's Choice. I called and spoke with Dave. Within an hour, he was at my house checking out the situation.

He must have thought I was crazy when I told him I hadn't opened the door to the water heater since it was installed. We never had any issues- so why would I? Of course, I didn't know that it was leaking a bit in a few places and getting ready to die a soggy death. David told me it outlived it's life expectancy.

The very next morning, David and his apprentice, Joshua, installed a brand new water heater. They did some work with the pipes and installed a water pan and pressure regulator to bring everything up to code. Even in my messy hoarders-like garage, it was obvious how well they cleaned up after the job.

David took the time to carefully explain what I needed. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it when the job was done. He is a topnotch person and does quality work. I wholeheartedly recommend People's Choice for anyone with plumbing needs. Our experience could not have been any better.

Fred and David(?) came by today after I reached out yesterday to seek help with a clogged pipe in the garage. They were friendly, professional, and prompt. They provided cost up front, an explanation of what could be happening and were transparent about what could happen if it didn't work and additional time/tools/methods were needed. Ultimately the issue was resolved on the first attempt and I was stress free except for having to clean my garage from some of the mess the pipe caused. Highly recommended if you want something done once and done right. Price is fair and turnaround was quick.

There's a reason People's Choice is one of the highest rated plumbing companies in the SATX area. They were reasonably priced, got us scheduled quickly, got the job done in a day, and were a pleasure to work with. It was nice to work with someone who was honest and didn't try to up sell us on everything.

Our sewer was backing up and we had a different company out who didn't put much effort into finding the issue and gave us a huge quote. People's Choice came out and ran their camera from a different access point and found the real issue which ended up being way cheaper than the other company (because the issue was isolated to one spot). By the end of the day we were on their schedule for only a few days later. They got the job done quickly and cleaned up our yard the best they could. Everything about the process was easy. They will now be my first call anytime I have plumbing work that needs to be done.
