Had problem with new air conditioner noise. They sent Jay Welch out the next day. He knew what to do & did it. Plus he had some ideas of other things that might help with the problem. If approved he will return & work on the excessive noise problem. Penguin Air you have a great asset in your staff.

Very happy with our emergency plumbing service! I've had bad experiences with other plumbing companies (unfriendly techs, not solving the problem, crazy up-charges) so I wasn't looking forward to another bad experience. This was the opposite in every way. From the time we placed the call to clean up and paper work, the service was professional, friendly, and thorough.

This outfit did some work on my sister's house two months ago. The sewer lines were backed up and causing a major issue throughout the house. I usually do not review companies but I thought this might serve as a warning to others in need since I was the one who ended up paying for this. If I could rate these guys lower than one star I would. They did clear the sewer lines out and installed a clean out for a total cost just under $6,000. This included a camera survey through the pipes. At the time my sister had little choice with a newborn baby in the house and sewage coming out of bathtub. They then informed my sister that all the sewer pipes needed to be replaced and gave her an estimate of an additional $30,000 would be required. They stated the foundation needed to be broken into and the driveway would have to be torn up for access to the city's line. Needless to say she proceeded to obtain additional assessments. One outfit came in and reviewed the video and informed her there was nothing wrong with the pipes and was amazed at the price we paid for the work already done. What's done is done but I do hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering this outfit for any type of work

My AC froze up during the evening it was so hot; my unit had literally froze up (there was ice); Called Penguin and they identified the probably immediately and were able to fix the probably quickly and professionally. I was very impressed with their service technician and I decided to sign up for the club membership (maintenance) - so that my AC will be regularly maintained and so I never have to suffer without AC again. They also do plumbing so I'll definitely call them if I experience plumbing issues.

Up charges like crazy. Our technician had no idea what he was doing and tried to tell us it was an electrical problem which it was not. They wanted over $1,000 and we decided to fix it ourselves and paid under $300. The technician opened up a wall outlet and caused sparks to fly everywhere as well as blew the breaker. He was only certified for HVAC and NOT electrical. He had no business in trying to pull out an outlet. He was not educated in our set up and told us he didn't know how to work on it. I DO NOT recommend this place and if for some reason you decide to go with them ask for any tech but Ryan.
