Probably a good plumber, A lot of good recommendations for him, but as a one-man shop he appears to be too busy to accept small or medium size jobs. He completely blew us off, not sure why I put 2 stars.

Horrible service, came out to fix cartridge in shower, two weeks later wasn't working again! Called back up for service again, never returned phone call! Saw company vehicle around the corner from house 4 houses down, called his phone, owner straight out lied and said he was out of town, him not knowing that the house he was at was a childhood friend of mine!! Honesty and Ethics are surely not with this company!! Beware!!!! To many honest plumbers out there to be messing with PENCE PLUMBING!!

Every now and then you hire a professional who shows up on time, fixes the problem thoroughly, and charges a fair fee. That happened today with Pence Plumbing! They are a small plumbing company and I met Phillip at the parts counter Sunshine Plumbing on AIA yesterday. His truck mentioned hot water repairs and that was my issue. I described my problem and he talked freely about what the problem could be. I decided I was beyond my ability and hired him. He came right over, and fixed it. This company is a two man operation. Small enough to care and know that their best source of new business are their current customers. I highly recommend this company. My only fear that is that one day they will be so successful that they will be just like the other companies! But not today!

Had a small leak at the valve under the kitchen sink. I called a few plumbers but Pence was the only to return the call & within the hour! They managed to squeeze me in & was at my home within the next hour! Repair was quick, parts were near same price as if I want to HD or Lowes. He even did a few other home adjustments since he was willing to fill the 1 hour minimum. These guys are now tops on my plumber list.
