My water heater started leaking about a year ago. Immediately I called a local company, peltzer plumbing, and Grant was able to come out that evening when I got off work, he comes in and says ok...that will be $1200 cash or check. I said what can you not fix it? I don't want your water heater then. Home Depot has them for $700. Grant says, ok that will be a $75 restocking fee. Also, this one has a 6 year warranty and you have a professional installing it so you are set for 6 years. You don't have that if you buy and install from Home Depot. I asked about military discounts...NO. Then again my better judgement, I agreed. He crushed my fan in the garage taking down my water heater and then knocked 25$ off. Fast forward to 11 months later and I call him because my overflow is leaking out side my house. I said, it should be covered under warranty. He said, I doubt it's your water heater probably your pressure regulator on your house. I went and bought a water pressure checker and 70 psi steady. I texted him a video today, a month after our last conversation and today he tells me it will be 400$ in labor to replace my water heater and the warranty only covers my water heater. I said, well...what if I don't want you to put it in...for $400 dollars I can put it in myself. (I just paid him $1200 a year ago). I said I did some googling and I think it's only a $15 part. He said, I've never heard of a $15 part to fix a water heater, I said I sent you a video, it's leaking outside the house. Then he said, oh yeah, that's a 15$ part and not even worth going through the warranty. I said ok so how much to fix it, he said the minimum $85. Then said he made it very clear that the warranty only covered parts. I don't remember that, and I would never give this dude another penny. From day one, when I though I was getting a free estimate, literally says it on the side of his truck, to a year later when basically he tells me he is not warranty if his parts that he chose to put into our home or his work....just not good business practice. Horrible customer service, miscommunication trying to call around and get estimates and the gentlemen named Grant yelled at us on the phone and told us to never call him again. We had an emergency situation but when we heard the quote over the phone for the emergency we decided maybe it could wait, apparently he did not like that and yelled at us. I will never do business with them or recommend to anyone.

My husband and I always try to use local valley center businesses to support our community. However we were extremely dissatisfied with this company. Very poor customer service and feel very strongly that we were overcharged for services rendered. He was here approximately 31/2 hrs of which half that time he was gone to get parts, which means we were charged over $500 for parts for hooking up a generator to propane. We take responsibility for not getting bid when he offered but because he was referred by someone that we trust we felt that we could trust him also. Our mistake, a hard lesson learned.

They are horrible!! Do not buy from them or work for them. If you subcontract for them, they will NOT PAY! Just consider anything with them a waste of time. I have tried collecting from them for over 8 months. They pretend that they don't even know who I am or that I even did a job for them even though they signed a contract. The job was small so I cannot place a mechanics lien on them, so keep that in mind if you ever wish to collect from these F**kers.
