Sergio Pelayo and his assistant Jorge just finished three weeks of work on our bathroom remodel.
They did absolutely top quality work.

They are professional and organized. Every day they arrived promptly at 8 o'clock. They were personable and easy to work with, and kept a steady pace all day. They had great attention to detail... I told Sergio he is more picky than I am LOL. In addition every day they completely cleaned up all their tools and left the floor and everything else in pristine condition For the next day.
Another thing I really liked is that Sergio will tell you if he is not comfortable doing a particular job rather than just trying to bull through it.
He also clearly has a lot of experience in construction and is familiar with a lot of issues that come up.

This review is based on the customer service, since we actually didn't get any service from this handyman. We called and left a voice message, no call back at all. I think it is because my husband talked about things that we want to get done in the voice message, they are small repairs, I guess they are too small, so no call back. Sure, no problem, taking business else where.

I was having a very difficult time finding a handyman that would respond timely and follow through. Until Pelayo Handyman Services. Sergio followed through, showed up when he said he would, and completed my repairs needed. My tenant shared how nice, friendly, and efficient he was. Making this a 2 part review. First one is for the wonderful customer service he provided just answering the phone and booking an appointment. He was my 3rd attempt at booking these type of services and by far the most knowledgeable and friendly. I'll review again after the services have been provided.

I can not say enough good things about Sergio and Pelayo Handyman services. ALWAYS calls back, ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS fare pricing. This guy nailed the handyman business. A good handyman is very hard to find. They are normally self employed and have trouble keeping a schedule. Sergio is on point and does AMAZING work....

I contacted several handyman service to take care of a number of repairs to my Home preparatory to placing it for sale in several weeks. Most of these contacted had scheduling conflicts. Sergio was able to fit me into his schedule in time. I had about a half dozen jobs to do (electrical, finish carpentry, duct work, lock installation) some simple, some not, but all beyond my skill level. Sergio and his assistant worked steadily throughout the day. We walked through each of the jobs at the end of the day. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. If other jobs come up before the home is sold, I'll be calling him again.

We needed a laundry list of random things done around the house. Sergio was up for everything. He swapped our chandelier out for a fan and light fixture, repaired stucco on the exterior of our house, built a barnyard swinging custom garage door for our detached garage, matched old pine wood paneling in our great room, regrouted tile, repaired our door threshold, fixed a door frame, and did a few minor repairs to other areas of our home. He was a reliable, and did an exceptional job. It was all done quickly and done very well. I definitely urge you to utilize Sergio and his company to help with any home repairs. We hired Sergio to remove some seating that was built into the wall of a home we just bought so we could turn the room into a tv nook. Sergio responded to our request quickly and did a great job at a reasonable price. He was professional, kind, skillful, and patient. Oh, he also took time during his visit to teach me some handyperson stuff and give me advice for unrelated projects, for no cost! He really should be charging more for his time. :) I wish him all the success in the world with his business. Thank you for a beautiful TV room, Segio! Matt and I love it.

Can I give more than 5 stars?! Sergio is fantastic! We had gotten a handyman referral from my husbands co-worker but he called the day before to let us know he couldn't make it after all. After sifting through pages of handyman reviews I called Sergio. After telling him all the work I needed He gave me a rough estimate over phone. I called him on a Tuesday and he was able to start work Monday. Not only did he communicate via text to let me know we were still on but he text me first thing Monday morning to say he was on his way and if he could start earlier than we planned. He arrived early, I showed him all we needed, he stuck with original price he quoted over phone (which was a great price btw) and got to work. He spoke with us each step of the way letting us know what he was doing and even when he wasn't sure if what he planned would work he was up front about that. Our condo was built in 1972 and some items were original to house so he had his work cut out for him, but I loved the way he approached from different angles and made it all work. He was efficient, took pride in what he was doing, and on top of it all was so nice! It sincerely was a pleasure having him in our home and I couldn't be more pleased with the work he did (wish I would've taken before and afters) In fact he's coming back in 3 days to paint our ceilings. In talking with him I found out he's got a strong background in construction so I feel like he'd be up to almost anything you throw his way. Call him now you won't regret it!
