Peerless plumbing installed a trash disposal in our newly built home and in 2.5 mos it was completely rusted out. On Mon 1-28-19, I spoke w/K @ Peerless and explained to her that we have reached out to them in the past re: the same but to no avail. She was very accommodating and pleasant! She ordered the part while we were on the phone n set the appt for Fri 2/1 so the srv man would come w/the part to replace it. On Fri 2-1-19, The srv man, George Anthony, arrived and asked what was wrong with the garage disposal. My husband explained to him n he turned it on n said it is not broken. He went to make a call in his truck n stayed for about 10 mins. My husband went out and asked him if he was going to replace the part or what was going on? He hung up the phone n came inside n told us that he had no part because the disposal works. I began to explain to him my call to K. I told him that the part was ordered on Mon as this appt was being made. I begin to call K so she could speak with him while he was in our home so we could rectify the issue, miscommunication, etc. n I told him that was what I was doing. The phone was ringing to K on speaker phone for the conference call then her voice mail picked up. He threw his business card on our island, said, """"You have to reschedule this appt bc I don't have a part with me."""" On a very abrupt n disrespectful tone. My husband said, """"No, we are not rescheduling, we have been waiting to get this done. You need to go n get the part n come back n put it on. Where do you have to go?"""" He said, """"They are all over the place! You can find them too!"""" His cell rang, he said, """"I have to take this call, I'm going to my car, I'll be back."""" We waited and waited only to look out front door and find that he had driven off and said NOTHING TO US!!! How unprofessional, rude, and discourteous...WE DO NOT RECOMMEND PEERLESS PLUMBING AT ALL...

About 6 months ago I had them put in two toilets and completely redo all the plumbing in both bathrooms plus new water heater. Excellent job, which is why I am having them install my new dishwasher on Tuesday. It's not everyday that you need a plumber thank goodness, but knowing a good one when you need one comes in mighty handy.

I called Peerless Plumbing in Florida due to a plumbing emergency. Unable to use the shower, toilet, and washing machine. A tech showed up to not only address that problem but as we had other projects, we arranged for him to be there the entire starting day around 8:30, He showed up at 11:30, snaked our shower and other drains, and believed he neutralized the problem. He claimed he had other clients he needed to see, and left at 2:30. But we elected to get a quote on a new toilet from Peerless which we received a quote for $425. LET THE BUYER BEWARE! It was suggested that I hire a company that could put a camera through our drains, we knew that would be expensive but needed to see if there was a larger systemic problem. We had 2 separate crews come in over 2 days to test and retest there was no blockage. There was no blockage. The original problem recurred again and I called the original plumber (Peerless) and did not receive a callback. A few days later, e-mails and calls back and forth to Peerless, and the toilet was installed. Subsequently, the original problem recurred and we made efforts to get back in touch with Peerless. They ignored our calls and e-mails. I then at about 2:00 used a business phone to try and reach them, one they would not recognize, and I was picked up by the same representative (Kara) that I started with. She claimed she received no e-mails or calls. She claimed she wanted to help us and used all of the nice customer service catchphrases and assured me she would call me back. She did not; she did have the original tech call me, who initially seemed to be on the same page. And I liked and trusted this tech, but he was put in the middle and not empowered to do what Kara had originally promised, we wanted what appeared to be a defective $625 replaced maybe with a different unit. She assured me and I reflected back on what I believed would happen. I waited a while and then called the tech back directly who was told he could not replace the toilet unless I agree to pay for a brand new installation + cost for a new toilet. I wanted to get him to my home to witness the leak which he did. The bolts had then been tightened for the 3rd time, and I expressed that I suspect he will need to be back, but he was pretty confident the problem was resolved. So now, I will be playing a waiting game with this new toilet and how it impacted (or not) the initial problem. This was a customer service nightmare, and in addition to the $625, they charged an additional $100 for a part of the installation. So I am down now more than $1,200, not including the tips we made sure to give the techs. Like I said, a customer service nightmare.

Called Peerless to get an estimate on running a few gas lines. My appointment was set then rescheduled from a Thursday to a Saturday. On the Saturday the contractor was supposed to come, I received a call cancelling. I can not recommend a company that is unable to meet a simple estimate request. Stay away!

My plummer that I normally use was on vacation for Xmas. My hot water heater went out and needed someone else to replace it. I called around. Other places said you don't need a permit and wanted lots of money. Jim the owner had a set price of $285. For the permit he charged only what the permit cost. Home depot wanted a lot more for the permit and for the install. His employee Joe came over right on schedule. He was courteous, professional and appears to have done a good job. I would use them again. Be careful buying water heaters from Home Depot. They are damaged and bent. You must open the box and inspect before you buy and take home with you.
