I could write a lengthy review about how Paul stole money from us, his poor integrity, work ethic and work quality. I could tell you about his anger issues, creating a hostile work environment where some of my other subcontractors wouldn't work if he was on the job site and much, much more. But most of this is hard to prove without lengthy documents and emails. I highly recommend that you do your homework on Paul Scareberry. I will give you several places to start: 
1) Call Rampart Supply at 303-629-6122 and ask what Paul's reputation is at their company and in the Denver area. Paul was sued by this company for fraud which led to Paul filing bankruptcy. Paul is no longer allowed in this plumbing supply store.
2) Paul works primarily with Lochinvar boilers. I would recommend you calling Lochinvar, ask for your local Lochinvar representative and ask them what their opinion is of Paul. They are all aware of him and do not approve of his quality of work or his character. They are aware of many times Paul has done bad business with other clients.
3) Do a background investigation of him. See how many businesses he has started and needed to shut down. I have met several other people in the industry that ironically know of his poor reputation here.
4) The biggest one is use your instincts. I had a bad feeling about him when I met him but he was the cheapest plumber I found. The cheapest isn't always the best option. When you meet him use your best judgement to see what kind of character and integrity he would have if things weren't going the way he planned. He was nice at first but I could tell if things got bad there would be no civil discussion on how to resolve any issues, which is exactly what happened.

I write this review not out of revenge but only to warn people of Paul's character. I would strongly recommend against hiring Paul Scareberry.

The owner Paul has been in the industry for 38 years and his knowledge of all things
plumbing and mechanic is an understatement. He helped my family with a boiler issue that was installed incorrectly by another business. It was one of those moments where if you could do it all over again, you'd have called Paul in first place. Lesson learned. Paul and his team took time out of their busy schedule
and were able to solve and correct my problems right away. They are very professional and also very friendly. Their service was worth every penny and I highly recommend them. Five stars all the way!
