Peck Plumbing & Heating Cheney
Company Overview
Integrity and quality since 1910.
Since 1910, Peck Plumbing & Heating has been a trusted name in the Spokane area. Our goal is to provide top-notch plumbing services and installations. We utilize only quality materials that are built to last, and we guarantee their performance. Our commitment to integrity and honesty makes us the go-to choice for residential and commercial plumbing needs. We handle everything from waste line replacements to fixing that pesky leaky hose bib!
We started in Spokane in the early 20th century, initially offering boilers, appliances, and coal. After a time as PECK & GALE mechanical contractors, we returned to our original name, Peck Plumbing & Heating. We take pride in our longstanding history of integrity and quality workmanship.
For more than ten years, I’ve had the privilege of working with my family. We believe in standing behind our work. I take responsibility for resolving any problems throughout the entire process. Currently, it’s just the three of us: Jerry, Jarrett, and myself. Our goal is to schedule jobs in a timely fashion, and we often take on up to eight calls each day! I’m here to answer any questions you may have and offer my advice whenever needed.

I could not be happier with the excellent service they provided their professionalism and their knowledge. Best plumbers ever!!! I will refer you to all my friends and family. Thank you so much.
Emailed to get some assistance on replacing a shower valve and he ended up diagnosing and resolving my issue over email. They are very knowledgeable and have certainly earned my business.
Ryan D.I wouldn't trust my plumbing needs with anyone else! I manage a 35 unit, family-owned apartment complex in Cheney, let's just say plumbing issues are not the least of my concerns. Peck Plumbing was the first company I called because of their trusted reputation and family-owned orientation. Their technician was very knowledgeable about my issue and explained my options in detail before proceeding with the work. The price and the materials that would be used for the job were both discussed before the work started. He was very efficient and willing to explain what he was doing while he was doing it. The project went smoothly, the attention to detail was top notch, and I paid exactly what I was expecting to pay when all the work was finished. 12/10!!!
Because I manage so many units and have a fair amount of issues, I am not always able to get my project done with Peck Plumbing. I have tried every other major plumbing outfit in the Inland Northwest and I always leave the transaction feeling slighted and unhappy. Not to say that the work wasn't done but I didn't get that friendly vibe like I do from Peck Plumbing.
Sure you can get the work done elsewhere but wouldn't rather know that your issue is going to be cared for by professionals that care?
These guys are the best! They pointed out to me that I still had a couple of months left on my warantee for my water heater which enabled me to order a replacement part at n/c. They installed it the day I received it and charged me about $1,500 less than the first quote I received from Mainstream Electric. They were very knowledgeable and professional. And they are now my ""go to"" plumbers. I give them my highest recommendation!
Marisa S.I highly recommend Peck Plumbing!!! Jerome is kind and professional! We had our hot water tank replaced today and I really appreciate their knowledge, hard work and fair pricing! Thank you Peck plumbing!!!
Kim M.Jerry does great work knows his stuff. He has repaired pipes and sprinkler systems for me at several properties.
Jeff B.These are my guys for water line problems from now on, and I wish I called them for other issues we've had in the last 20 years. We had two ""surprise"" plumbing events in the last year--neither a real big job--but beyond the realm of my DIY. They made it all seem so easy, I found myself reaching for my dude card to turn in, for my lack of technical skills. They are local to me, a family business, always on time, and very fair/affordable. Message for the West Plains: these guys are a solid call for any plumbing issue/emergency...
We had a toilet leak at a rental house and not only did Jerry answer the phone, but scheduled a problem solving mission for the same afternoon. After trying to fix the toilet it was determined we needed a new toilet. He showed up early the next morning and had the toilet installed in less than an hour. Jerry is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and professional. Also, he is honest and respectful of women.
Lewis E.I just had Jerry of Peck plumbing and heating take care of a water heater problem that I had. I scheduled the time of 2:30 in the afternoon and he showed up at 1:50 ready to go. He was excellent! Very friendly and professional the price was also excellent. If you're looking for a plumber or somebody to fix a water heater as I was you don't need to look any further than Peck Plumbing and Heating. I also gave him some Garden produce because it was such a wonderful experience! :-)
ADDED $160 to my quote for no reason. I gave Peck Plumbing & Heating a call because I wanted to support a local, father & son business. Mr. Peck (father) was nice enough to come over and provide a quote for some work I needed done but had to repeatedly excuse himself to take a cell phone call from Lil' Pecker (son) who apparently was buying a new boat and needed to bother his father at work.
After apologizing for his son's annoying calls and texts, we got back on track and agreed on a price of $300 for the job. We shook hands and Mr. Peck informed me that his son, Lil' Pecker would be emailing me a bid the following week. The next week, I received my quote from Lil' Pecker stating the job would now cost $460 rather than the $300 that his father and I agreed upon. (Guess it cost me an extra $160 for Lil' Pecker to compose an email?)
I replied to the email stating this bid was way more expensive than his father's quote and I wasn't sure what could have changed over the weekend to make the price go up so much. Lil' Pecker's reply was that I should get several quotes from his father's competitors if I did not like it and even offered to provide me a list of his father's competitors to choose from.
It goes without saying that I will not do any business with Peck Plumbing & Heating and I will tell everyone I talk to about Lil Pecker's antics. I find it tragically sad that Old Man Peck has his good name on the business and side of the van and Lil' Pecker is doing everything in his power to drive his father's customers to the competition. No problem... I actually got one of Peck's competitors to honor the price his own son wouldn't honor.
