Founded in 1969, Peaden Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical has a rich history. Our roots trace back to Panama City, Florida, where we initially served Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, Parker, and all of Bay County. In 2010, we broadened our service area to include Destin, Okaloosa Island, Freeport, Defuniak Springs, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, and Crestview. Our expansion in 2012 allowed us to serve Pensacola, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Gulf Breeze, Milton, Pace, Jay, Navarre, Fairhope, Daphne, Bay Minette, Robertsdale, Cantonment, and Molino. It’s evident that Peaden has a wide coverage across the Gulf Coast.

For over 30 years, I have resided on the Gulf Coast, and I am proud to consider it my home. From Pensacola to Destin to Panama City, this coast is where I live and work.

Peaden used to be so good but it's been a totally different experience this year. They failed me in every way. They didn't show up the day that was scheduled, didn't call me to let me know they weren't going to show up on the day scheduled, couldn't diagnose the problem on the first service call, spent $200 for repair that didn't fix the problem and then topped it off by giving me the run around about why I was skipped the day that was scheduled for the 3rd service call. There was literally no aspect that was good service except that the repairmen were friendly and very polite. I wish friendly could make up for the wasted time and money but unfortunately it can't.

I don't think this is a reputable business. I called peaden about my ac having issues. It turned out to be the drain line was clogged. The guy came in and told us that and also quoted us 8K in hospital grade UV lights and said there was mold all over my machine. (There wasn't). I told him to take his stuff and leave and I will unclog the drain myself with a bottle of $5 bleach. Then I left a review for them on google about my experience and they tried to make me out to be a liar about my quote. See the receipts below! Don't do business with peaden, they're trying to take advantage of you.

I'd give them 3 stars for customer service before the technician arrived but 5 stars for the tech! I waited at home ALL day for the tech just to call to say he was coming. Granted, we had only called the day before, so I was excited to get a tech to come the next day. My excited waned as it was over 80 degrees inside and every time I called the secretary said """"He's on a call and will be over as soon as he can. You can leave your house if you need but if you don't answer when he calls, we won't come over today. I hope you have a good rest of your day"""" When the tech showed up, he easily diagnosed the problem and showed my husband where it was. Quickly it was fixed and he was on his way and we had cool air again!

These people are some of the biggest scammers in the business. Everything the tech they sent said, was a lie! I got a second opinion from Lee Heating and Cooling in Pensacola, and Chad Brown checked every repair they claimed needed to be done ASAP. Not one was true, and we are talking thousands of dollars. This technician from Peaden was so cunning that he showed me a set of false A/C readings on his notebook computer - Chad, with Lee Heating & Cooling showed me the real readings and that the refrigerant for the A/C was full, not low as Peaden's tech alleged. I almost bought a whole new A/C from these crooks. Don't think he is the only one, check all their stories with a second opinion. Some companies will check Peaden's bogus testing and summaries for free - Lee charged me $49, but it was worth it! It's a jungle out there!

My neighbor called out Peaden for service. They pulled into my front yard with no respect for my property. As you can see from the pictures the left tire tracks right through my decorative sand. I don't understand why some people( this service tech) cannot respect property. Now I have to fix what this company representative did. I may be hesitant to ever use this company if that's the way they operate.

28 months ago I contracted Peaden Heating and Air to replace my AC/Heat Pump system. They were higher than most but I was assured it was quality equipment with a ten year warranty. On July 18 my blower motor stopped working and I had no AC. They came the next day and put in a temporary motor until they could order a replacement motor. I was charged $301 for the service. The incorrect motor ran continuously and couldn't be shut off. 15 days later they finally came back and replaced the incorrect motor with the new one. I was then charged $678 dollars for the replacement. They refused to credit me for the first service call. They refused to allow me to keep the incorrect motor they replaced. So almost $1000 paid for a part under warranty. Needless to say I don't recommend this company.

I got charged $450 to service my HVAC unit, never again. This also included a software update, something I could have done myself. I understand that we are going through tough times but their prices are through the roof.

We've been an elite member with Peaden for over 2 years now. What drew us to becoming a member was their punctual notifications during the day to let us know when someone would arrive. This past time (HVAC inspection), 3/21/24 we were told unknown as to when someone would arrive, that I would get a call from technician 30-40 minutes out. I called at 4:30 p.m., that day to find out the technician wasn't coming. It was rescheduled to 3/27/24 and I was informed I would be the first call that day. Well, we waited all day. The technician finally arrived around 4:00. I will give the technician credit, he knew what he was doing and finished promptly. I expressed my dissatisfaction and he said he would notify his supervisor. Normally, I would've received a request to complete a survey, but I guess they know what my response would be. Is it really worth being an elite member? We'll see if this type of service continues.
