Carpenters populate my family, from my father to my brothers and nephews. I have friends across the trades, including electricians, plumbers, and painters. Uncles in masonry and steelworking add to this rich background. I've gained hands-on experience across these trades. Many seasoned professionals now oversee buildings, sharing their knowledge. After years as a union carpenter and working with different companies, I chose to focus on homeowners. I strive to offer answers to everyday and rare problems. Equipped with a broad array of tools, I can address issues for homeowners and businesses alike. Home improvement is another way I provide value. Veasna H.Extremely Disappointing Experience with Unprofessional Handyman
I recently hired Arthur to install our front door. However, my experience with him was extremely disappointing. Not only did he fail to complete the work within the agreed-upon timeframe, but he also left the project unfinished. His lack of professionalism and disregard for deadlines have caused me a great deal of inconvenience and frustration.
Firstly, his communication skills were severely lacking. It was incredibly frustrating trying to get in touch with him as our door did not closed properly and can't be locked from the outside. As it's unsafe for my family and needed to be fix. We scheduled for another day and he did not show up at the time he was scheduled.
Furthermore, he rendered his service as he knew he couldn't handle the work and wanted me to pay in full. He expected me to pay in full as the job wasn't complete and stated he had to purchase other tools for my door installation. As a handyman, I hope that he has all his tools and equipments knowing the jobs he was hired to do.
I had to hire another contractor to complete his unfinished work which he completed in a timely manner.
I would strongly advise against hiring Arthur for any future projects. Non licensed contractor, incompetence and unreliability make him a poor choice for anyone seeking quality workmanship and professionalism.
