Betsey T.I called Peace of Mind... my bathroom sink was backing up into my bathtub. They called me back ASAP and came right away. Jordan and Rich were great. They unclogged the problem and replaced a faulty pipe on my sink. Pricing was reasonable. I couldn't be happier with them.
Tracie B.Two jobs in now. About a year ago POM replaced old bathroom pipes in the wall. Happy with that job. And just recently, ran a new gas line in the house for a new gas stove which was replacing an electric one. This was a multi-visit process but each went well. Love that they manage their schedule well and show up when they say they will, and do the work well for a fair price.
I was so pleased with Jordan's work. He is a perfectionist and was able to repair a leaky toilet and replace a tub drain that another plumber said was impossible to do. Two weeks later another bathtub had a shower lever problem, again Jordan replaced the part in this bathroom over my garage. The work was done through the garage ceiling, thereby not causing any cutting of sheetrock in the adjoining room. His helper put the sheetrock back in place and it looks so good that we may pass on having the ceiling repaired. From Michael to Jordan to his helper, you can't meet nicer workmen, truly skilled and pleasant.
Needless to say, I now have a reliable plumber to call for any future problems and that's peace of mind.
Fake reviews. These guys probably paid to get 5 star reviews or asked their friends to put in a good word for them, cause seriously I was duped. Should've known the only plumbers on yelp near here with five stars, were a joke. Jordan; "" I don't want to touch the pipe or system we are not familiar with this system"" but oh hey I'll take your money and just change the switch next to it & leave you with a huge leak from it after! Jordan is like PMSing while at the job too & acting like he was the bomb, pleasant my butt. Later Michael shows up and says oh hey we have nothing to do with the leakage, a little jiggling won't cause it to leak. But guess what called another plumber & find out that oh hey a ""little jiggling can cause the rubber rolls to roll out of a pipe knob & cause leaking, that's plumber 101, the guys should've known that!"" And I find out that the the piece they replaced was done horribly as if he "" butchered it"" according to the 2nd plumber.
From the moment the 2 men walked in my door and shook my hand I knew it was a mistake. One of the guys had no grip and he acted like it was gross to shake. If you don't like shaking hands give a fist bump or just don't shake. They gave me an estimate that was absolutely ridiclious. $300 to replace a 1 inch 3/4 tee and $1200 to cut back a baseboard. Come on! I had 2 other reputable companies come by and the estimate was 60% less. My best advice is shop around when you need a plumber and always get free estimates.
Eun Joo Y.Jordan and Michael were great to work with. I live in an old house and frequently get clogs down the kitchen drain. My house also has all sorts of plumbing alterations done by non-professionals in the past. They came in and gave me a judgment-free consultation and provided solution options that made the fixes more affordable. They were able to re-route the the kitchen drain to the toilet drain (via minor wall modifications) and cap the problem pipe that went underground.
Over the years, I consider plumbers to be the worst for even showing up, never mind the quality of work.
Need a boiler/water heater replacement. Found Peace of Mind plumbers from Yelp reviews and decided to go with them for the work.
Their performance;
Promptness - They turned up exactly on time every time they were due. From doing the inspection, providing a quote and undertaking the work.
Appearance - They were professional, gave honest opinions and didn't try to upsell on anything.
Quality of Work - I don't know plumbing but the boiler works. However, we had the local building inspector come round to sign of on the permit for the new boiler. After his inspection he asked who had done the work. We old him and he said, "" That is probably the best installation I've ever seen.""
Overall - Next time I'd use them and wouldn't even bother getting an alternate quote.
Great guys to deal with and first class work. Thanks
Cara E.UPDATE: Came home from vacation to a leaking kitchen sink and rotted pipe. I called POM Plumbing and, literally, two hrs later Jordan showed up to replace the pipe. Seriously, you cannot find workmen like this anymore! They are beyond professional, efficient and just downright nice. The price was fair, the job done smoothly. I honestly have no hesitation to call the plumber now when something needs to be fixed, the knot in your stomach that used to exist out of fear of being overcharged, shoddy work, etc? GONE!
They're awesome!
Jason G.Great job, great people. Had some antiquated appliances in the basement from previous owner that I wanted disconnected and capped along with a small unidentified water leak. Mike and Rich arrived on time, we talked through what I wanted done and immediately got to work. They disconnected the appliances, removed all the old pipes, capped the gas line, cemented over the hole in the chimney and identified the water leak. They didn't try to upsell me or scare me into additional work I didn't need but when I asked gave me a very reasonable estimate on some other work for the down the road. They were complete professionals and just overall good guys. They even offered to take the old gas heater with them which saved me a favor since it was a 2-man job, and gave me the number of a scrap metal collector who would come pick up the old stove.
They were upfront about the price and I found it very reasonable. I'd use these guys again without hesitation.
Fantastic, quick responding company. The two gentlemen Jordan and Rich, that came to our house were very friendly and ready to go to work, they even came earlier than promised. They took time to explain everything before they proceed. They wore covers on their shoes and cleaned up before the left. If you are looking for plumbers give these guys a call.
