He installed a new water heater. The old one was old and not installed according to code. This one was installed correctly and am glad we replaced it before it stopped working. My mom spends winters in Cave Creek, so I needed to help her find a good plumber to replace her hot water heater and fix several other problems, including faucet valves and the main water valve that were basically seized up from calcium deposits.

I'm really glad I found Peace of Mind Plumbing during an Internet search. Joe came by and analyzed the hot water system and suggested installing a tankless water heater and integrated recirculating pump. He gave us a very good price for a modern Navien heater with a stainless heat exchanger and did a beautiful job installing it. The house now gets an endless supply of instant hot water.

Also, my mom has really nice faucets in the bathroom, but several had corroded cartridges, so the knobs were very hard to turn. Joe removed the bad cartridges and brought them to his plumbing supplier to identify the correct replacement cartridge. Most plumbers wouldn't bother doing this-- they'd just say you had to replace the entire faucet. Joe did a great job and the faucets work as good as new... and his charge was very reasonable.

Joe also pointed out that the water valves under the sink had frozen (no surprise after 20 years of Arizona hard water) and replaced those with better quality valves, so everything is in order now. My mom is thrilled!

After renovating our house completely less than a year ago- we were disappointed to find one of the bathroom toilets leaking into our kitchen ceiling. Joe came out promptly after calling him- and considering we were not a former customer, we were extremely pleased with the sense of urgency he gave us. After we bought a house the inevitable happened- things broke and needed to be fixed right away. We had called a couple plumbing companies and they did fine but they were a little bit expensive.

Not only that, he checked all our toilets for a part that had been recalled and replaced them that day. He also did a check of our entire house to make sure things were working properly. Looking for a good plumber is like dealing with a used car salesman or a lawyer, Joe relieved all of that stress. He was responded quickly to our detailed quote inquiry for install of a 5 stage system & didn't play any games. When he did come out for the install he was neat(put on shoe protectors) so the flooring was not dirtied...That was impressive right off the bat. After he finished the installation, he followed up day or 2 later with suggestions.
How many plumbers/contractors do that after they have already been paid for a job?
He took care of us without any games, highly recommend call Joe first so you don't have to deal with the plumber from hell! Will hit him again if an issue comes up or friends need a top notch plumber.
