Recommended Customer Reviews
Needed outdoor spigot repaired/replaced. Estimate after arriving $1054.00!!! Obviously declined the work but still had to pay $79 fee. Local plumber came yesterday and did the same exact job for $340.00.
Great business model - collect the obligatory $79 fee after offering outrageous estimate - see other reviews to verify -
BTW the technician REEKED of cigarette smoke, too.
My recommendation - avoid.
Diane G.Terrible. scheduled service and didn't show up or call or return my call. Unprofessional and unreliable.
The service was good and their response time was accurate.
We needed to have our garbage disposal replaced and the charge seemed excessive. $1000+ for 11/2 hours of work and the new disposal!
We were very disappointed with the cost but the service was prompt and the plumber communicated the issues and described how to resolve the problem.
I will be looking elsewhere in the future!
I called to made an appt and unless I paid a $200 ""emergency fee"" for them to come out that week, I had to wait a week. On the day of my appt (10-2 window) they didn't show until 5 and when I called earlier to check on them they said they were taking care of emergency calls.... So they seem to push off people, even those that have appts, unless you pay the $200.
after getting my estimate ($1200 to replace the motor that the tech said was gone, and a fan blade) I paid the deposit and the parts were supposed to come in within 3 days. I called after the 3 days and was told that the parts were delayed and would be pushed to the next week, plus another week to get an appt. I told them to cancel my order and I called other companies. I found another AC guy who came out the next day and the motor was NOT gone like the other tech told me. He replaced the capacitor and the AC worked.... Cost of $230.
I had nothing but frustration dealing with PC Plumbing.
Rebecca D.Made an appointment a week out. Nobody showed up in the 10-2 window, so I called and was told the guy was late but would definitely show and I'd get another call. 5pm rolls around and I call again for an update. Finally get a call around 6 from the plumber (Tony) who tells me that he can come, but he won't be able to do anything (?). So I asked if he could come tomorrow and if so, would he be able to work on the issue. He said yes and he'd call me. He didn't call me, so I called again. Was told a different plumber would come between 12-2, ""maybe even earlier."" Yep, 3pm rolls around and again a no-show.
Needless to say, I would not recommend this company to anyone. I understand that they're busy, but to totally flake twice and not even have the decency to call me to tell me what was going on is pretty much the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
John C.We had a frozen heating zone. They came right out and stayed until they fixed it. Highly professional, neat work. Matt, you and PC made the varsity in my book.
Jennifer Q.My initial encounter with this company was very positive, but every subsequent encounter, which was not with the same technician- horrible! I'm so disappointed. I was told that an estimate for work would be free, but the technician who showed up said the inspection would cost 108. I asked for an HVAC maintenance package, and found out after paying, it didn't include cleaning- even though I was told that's what the maintenance was! Just had my third bad experience. I called and specifically asked to have an AC cleaning/ yearly maintenance. I was told there was an 89.99 special. The technician told me after that I needed to have the unit cleaned...which is not included.
This is not an honest company, unfortunately. It has been one bad experience after another. I would recommend finding another service.
Had previously used this company for a several projects over the years - installing new sinks, adding a shut off valve for an outdoor tap, replacing a defective drain pipe, thawing a frozen heater, and fixing a leaky sink drain. Not cheap, but did solid and reliable work.
Have become increasingly annoyed by their answering service model and the two day turnaround to get scheduled. Not efficient or customer focused.
Also annoyed by a rough estimate for fixing a leaky shower - estimate was around a $1,000. Sounded a bit off given I felt like I had seen this solved on This Old House much more simply. Going on YouTube I found this problem could be fixed with a $40 part the manufacturer will send you for free under lifetime warranty plus less than 30 minutes of simple labor.
Not sure what I'm missing. Will be going elsewhere in the future.
Had them in to clean gas fireplace. As he was replacing the glass after cleaning I spotted
a handprint on the glass which I pointed out to him. While he did clean it he was very displeased with me for pointing this out and he told me it was my fault for not having it cleaned regularly.
After he left,my fireplace began making a loud grinding and clicking noise that it had never
made before. I made a recording of the sound and sent it to him. He said he never received it when I followed up so I sent it again. This time they reviewed it and he told me not to use the fireplace until he can get here to repair it. That was over a month ago, with no follow through.
So essentially I paid $200 to clean my fireplace after which I can't use it because he broke it and never came back to repair it, just told me not to use it.
This business uses an answering service to interface with potential and existing customers. There is no direct way to contact them or to communicate. Everything is done based on an ""Ill have someone return your call"" basis. Not a great way to win customers. Further, their scheduling is inflexible and not timely.
Id advise anyone needing work to be done to look elsewhere if you are truly interested in top notch customer service and support.
