Stay away from this company! They advertise in the Pennysaver, HomeTown shopper.
I always look for local company's to hire whenever I need something done, but this time it was a big mistake! What a bunch of crooks! The special read: "" Pumping & Chemical $99.95 also another special Pumping & Chemical and Hydrojet Aeration Special $169.95.- so I called to make the appointment, it wasn't until Jim called back to let me know what time the truck would be arriving that he disclosed there was a $50.00 service fee. Making the price jump to $220.00. THIS was NOT in the add. But moving along, I agreed. They did show up on time and got to work right away but first made sure I would have the money including the service charge. Blew air into the dry well moving the muck around for about 15-20 min. Did NOT pump out even one gallon out, and did NOT put in any chemicals. Even though I asked him repeatedly to pump out some of the water since it came up and was going back into the pipe. He kept repeating it did not need to be pumped. He threw the cap back on made sure he got his money and left. He said NO laundry for five days. ""It would dilute the chemical"" (he never put any chemical in) and that after the aeration it would drain on its own after five days it would be empty. Also that they never pump out dry wells.
This is the biggest farce, huge case of deceptive advertising. Got $220.00 for half hour from beginning to end and all he did was blow air into soapy water.
Do NOT hire these people, it is insulting that they think people are so stupid they can get away with it.
When you call to find out what the special entails, they tell you they will pump and add chemicals as well as the aeration. They blatantly lie!

What a horrible experience with this company. The only nice thing I can say they came out to my house pretty quickly. But the pumped out my over flow even though the want really anything in it and charged me $600 dollars anyway. They then told me it was a plumbing issue. So I called my plumber they came out right away. Looked at my toilet changed a couple of things and proceeded to tell me my cesspool was full. I called the company again they then pumped my main tank which they should have done in the first place and charged me again $600 dollars. What a rip off . So angry
Nick J.I entered a review on the day they came after procrastinating. Showed up demanding cash before they did any work 20 minutes to start after they jerked me around for a week. The estimate they gave was more than triple what I was charged by another company who I called and they immediately came within an hour. They tried telling me I needed new cesspools and that my pools were collapsing when all that was the problem was a clogged drain leading from pool to pool. They should be called PAYMORE CESSPOOLS.. Very dishonest company! Stay away!
Stay away from Payless Cesspools. Jim the owner is a crook. He overcharged us on our cesspool pumping that more than doubled his initial quote. They even messed up my yard when they digged. No wonder they are in the cesspool industry because that's exactly where their reputation belongs.
I just wanted to give an update about Payless. If I could have given more stars I would happily have done so. I came into work this morning and found sewage backing up into the sink and the toilets. Dreading that I would need to have my commercial cesspools pumped, I immediately called Jim. His staff came with a pump truck and checked out the situation. I waited concerned about the coming news. Suddenly Jim walks into the office and tells me that I have a clog in my line. Now I am fully expecting to hear that I will have to rip up floors to replace the line. Mush to my delight Jim explains that they have a tool that will clear the line without damaging anything. 1 hour later and a very small bill we were back in business. Thanks again Jim
Joanne R.I called Payless Cesspool on Labor day. I was very happy that they picked up the phone. Water was coming out of my vent as I ran my washing machine. They came the next day at the exact time they told me. That was a delight!!! Joe was very informative and knew what to do. He insisted on opening up my cesspools to see if they were full. Other companies wanted to just snake the drain. Joe and Joe worked for an 1 1/2 hours to find my cesspools because I had no idea where they were. They found them and they were full!!! I am very thankful to have the job done correctly. As far as the bill: I was given the pricing of most of work before they open my cesspools. I wasn't told I would be charged $75.00 to dig up a 6"" tree that was in the way. But I feel that was fair and it needed to be done. I was very impressed that I wasn't charged for all the time they took looking for my cesspool. People don't work for nothing. It is a dirty job and I give a lot of credit for service companies that do this job.
James S.Should have checked reviews. Nearly 3 hours late. As they pulled up watched the passenger throw his empty coffee cup into my street. The $300 estimate landed in double for nonsense; you can tell they find things to tack on. Left dirty hand prints on my painted walls. Unprofessional from start to finish.
Tamia B.Had an issue with my cesspool. The guys came to remove the waste - the neighbor came from across the street and asked one of the guys for help with his cesspool and he left my job to go over there. When I called the owner to complain he told me his guy can do whatever he wants to do. I will not be using there service again and neither will I be referring anyone.. Very unprofessional and rude.
Knows his business and is good at it. Fast quality service at fair rates. Highly recommended
was at my house on March 1 2014. Came pumped cesspool, 2 weeks later having same problem, called him on sunday morning said he would call me that night to confirm time for Monday. No call. Call him Monday morning, he said he would be here in the afternoon, afternoon came and went. called him at 5pm said he would be here in 2 hours. He calls me and said truck broke down on the way to my house. needless to say this is the worst business I have EVER dealt with. PLEASE STAY AWAY. DO NOT USE THEM
