We have a small bungalow on the bay. Our toilets were backing up. I called on Sunday and after a reminder call during the late afternoon on Monday, they showed up at 5pm on Monday.
The cesspool cover is exposed, so there was no digging. They said they would pump out and add chemicals. After a few flushes we determined it was not the cesspool but probably a clog in the house. Our son removed a toilet bowl and asked the Payless crew, who were ready to leave, to electrically snake the line. We paid $675 that night for pumping a cesspool and it wasn't really the problem. During the following two weeks we were hearing the glub-glub in the toilet bowl. We limped along not using the washing machine and limited the amount of flushing. By week three the washing machine water backed up into the shower and the toilets no longer evacuated when flushed. We tried limiting water usage but had enough, we contacted Payless again, hoping they would come and correct our clogged situation because they never corrected the clog on the first call. They came 2 days after the recall, wouldn't take any responsibility saying they weren't plumbers. My husband ordered them out of the house.
Called another cesspool company who showed up in 2 hours, went under the house to clear the clog and aerated the cesspool for $500.

My mom phoned payless cesspool sewer & drain in rocky point today for a yearly service fee of $169.50 ; to throw a $21 product in the cesspool. The older guy tried to sell her some bs package which she replied no . My mom is a tough 80 year old who wo't be taken for a fool! His manner changed when she said she was only paying the $169.5O package & his reply was that he would not have come. He also added an additional $75 to get rid of waste which she was not informed of. After a 25 minute job the young kid worked on the old guy got out of his car to give my mom the bill . She was told that they needed work to make a larger hole which will cost her over $3500 with no estimate breakdown ! Older people need more aware of companies that change prices or make up repairs !!!!

There's a reason why we use them time and time again. Efficient, affordable, and service that you can trust in. It's family owned and operated, and from estimate to completion it's nothing but top tier customer service. We live by the water, so need more frequent treatments, and they are quick to respond, always on time, and informative/helpful throughout about what to do to get the maximum benefit from their services. Today they worked around my schedule, were in and out with almost no evidence of their work, and the two gentleman were beyond courteous and respectful. With so many things being bare minimum, it seemed necessary to leave a review with how impressed I was. Could not recommend a better company, Payless Cesspool gets a 10/10 from me. I went to leave them a review on Facebook, but apparently I was that impressed at my last service that I already did!

Warning!
Beware of this company. I used them recently and was overcharged by 40 percent compared to their competitors. They do not honor their online coupon on their website. I complained of the price with no avail. They do not honor their original quotes. Affordable Cesspool Company would be a better choice.

I needed cesspool servicing and was given the name of Payless Cesspool, Sewer and Drain from my neighbor who had used them and highly recommended them. From my initial phone call with Roseann, I was treated respectfully, responsively and with a great deal of kindness. (I had recently lost my husband who always handled this kind of stuff, was a bit emotional and didn't even know where the cesspool was!) Roseann was so comforting to me and told me not to worry, they would take care of everything. The next morning two men arrived to do the work. James was amazing. He handled everything with kindness and confidence and immediately put me at ease. He explained what was going on and what needed to be done. I felt not only taken care of but cared for! The work was done quickly and thoroughly. Because there was a flood in my basement, James also suggested I look into restoration services as there could be potential for mold from the water damage. I never even thought of that. He recommended a company that his company had worked with before and my experience with them was just as good! Thank you James and Roseann! You guys rock!

Roseann was great.... set us up quickly and her personality was fun to be on the phone with. Joey and Brock arrived promptly... Joey was polite, professional, explained and showed me everything and quoted specific prices before doing anything. It was a more than pleasant experience. My basement was taking on water and I was in desperate need of help. LBD weekend, no one was available. Thankfully I found Payless and they came within a few hours. James fixed the issue quickly and gave tips for future issues as well. DO NOT go anywhere else. Trustworthy and fair priced.

I had them come to my house .. Two air raid & empty , cesspool .. If u have them do work .. U have to watch them .. Didn't do a full or good job .. Had to call someone else !!!!

This Cesspool company is awesome!!!! I had an issue with my cesspool tank I called them and the owner Roseann she helped me right away she gave an appointment the same day. Roseann was very professional and knew actually what was wrong with my cesspool. That same day she sent me both of her sons Joey and James Which I did not know that they were brothers at first until they told me , they were extremely Professional and very kind and they knew The problem that was causing the back up right away and they did a spectacular job I highly recommend PAYLESS COMPANY.
