Terrible company! Horrible Customer Service, they do not keep their appointments, and cannot even give an estimate! I wonder how they even stay in business!

I called the company to get a quote about 3 weeks ago. I was told I would have the quote two days later. I called the company to ask for the quote and they said they do not have anything and would have it emailed to me by Monday. Monday came and gone and still nothing. I called them and they apologized and said it would be sent out that day (Tuesday) by 2pm. That day came and gone. I called Wednesday and again was told I would have it by today. Still nothing. Two days ago I called to ask for the Supervisor or owner and they wouldn't put me thru to anyone and was told they need to come and look at the site again and someone would be out on Wednesday (today). Guess what! They called saying they were cancelling and wanted to reschedule for the following week! What a joke!

Contact company with Caution! If you want service, contact someone else!

So I Am manager at a fast casual restaurant. I had a drain in my lobby that was backed up so I called pay 4 less plumbing around 4 pm and asked if they could send someone to help me out. The women who answered the phone was very nice and she told me she would give me a call in a few minutes to notify me when to expect the plumber. About a half hour later I decided to call back because I was still waiting. I let her know that I was waiting for a call back and that it was very urgent that I got someone out asap to fix the problem and she apologized and put me on hold so she could contact her supervisor so she could get someone out quicker. After a few minutes she notified me someone should be arriving shortly. After about another hour I called back yet again and she told me the plumber wouldn't be able to arrive till about 8pm, which was 4 hours after I called, so I told her I understood and I was fine waiting till 8. At about 8:30 I was tired of waiting so I called back, my call had been transferred to another office because the original office was closed so I brought them up to speed on the situation and the man who answered the phone told me that there were no pending calls that he was notified about and that they would not be sending out a plumber that night and the best he could do is have someone call me the next morning to set something up. So after waiting for over 4 hours I received no help from this company. Yes I understand I probably should have called another plumber after the first hour or so but they seemed polite enough that I believed they were really trying to get someone out to me. I was wrong. They could have told me they were too busy to send someone out rather than keep me waiting. I will never call them again and I don't recommend them.

What a con job they try to pull. Called on Sunday, told a tech would be out between 3 and 5. Tech called to say 230 to 3. Company called and said vehicle broke down would be out Monday. They called Monday and said between 10 and 12. Showed up at 1230. Add in phone book said clear a drain for $39.95. Tech said $185, when I questioned it was told $185 for initial drain, $39.95 for any additional drain. Ran his snake in the drain from outside and inside. said it wouldn't release, maybe a broken fitting or pipe. Need to put in a HydroSpray for $2500. With a senior discount I paid him $150 and sent him on his way. Called another local plumber out this morning. Snake cleared it right up, said I need a new garbage disposal(I felt it wasn't working right). New garbage disposal installed. $200.
So when you get the stop payment on the check, call me and I will negotiate a smaller amount for your service call to do nothing.

DO NOT USE THIS Company! During the entire project, they were rarely on-time and were not responsive. Their workmanship is just poor. They were hired to re-pipe the house. 3 months later, the house was flooded because they overlooked one of the pipes in the kitchen. The faucets they changed also started to leak after 3 months. We are in the process of dealing with insurance at this point... The nightmare never ends with these guys.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!
My parents phoned this plumbing company with the following results:
(1) They never showed up for the appointment (making mom wait for hours)
(2) They wanted to charge $485 to connect a new washer to the water line and make sure the connections were OK.

Ridiculous prices, horrible service - stay away from these crooks.

This Payless plumbing is a rip off they advertise $39 cleaning any drain, but when they get here they say it's $350 for it . Additionally the man was incredibly rude telling me hey lady I'll charge $1000 if I want. I let them know there are laws protecting consumers.

RUN VERY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
The work they do is half assed. I had to get another plumber to come out and fixed the damage THEY DID. the guys where nice but not at all great plumbers. I am refusing to pay them due to the poor work they did. If i have to get someone else to do YOUR job then your not getting paid...sorry not sorry

I work for a company and needed service on a plugged toilet, I called Payless plumbing and was told they would be out the following day between 9-11 they didn't show up, called they said they didn't have record of appt and would send some. They arrived later that day only to tell me it needed more work could be the piping they offer free camera inspection and my cost today was $120, but it would plug up again. They would send someone on Monday to inspect with camera and could be the piping. My warning lights were flashing at this point.. Could be the pipes?? Why would he say that? Monday comes and again no show, I call them they say it was scheduled for Tuesday ok I wait no show again on Tuesday I call they say their computers were stolen and couldn't see their appointments. Warning lights getting really bright at this point but I wanted my free camera inspection asked to speak to manager spoke with Bobby, he was apologetic and got someone to the store to inspect. Once inspected he tells me the pipe has desolved hitting dirt and didn't go any further in fear of the camera getting stuck in the mud. Needed to fix pipe by breaking into ground and do repair a $4400 job and that's with the 10% discount. My warning lights were screaming red at this point. Funny how the first guy mentioned the piping might need to be replaced and then the second guy says the same thing. My thought why in the world would I give them my money when I can't even get them to keep their scheduled appointment. Called Affordable Plumbing for a second opinion he ran the camera no such piping issues no such dirt issues and only needed ( I forget what it's called) a replacement to improve the water pressure so the toilet would not keep getting plugged. Service call, camera inspection and item replacement $ 345.00 later it's fixed!!! Payless plumbing is a ripoff they want to mess with your piping to increase your bill!!!Stay Away!!!

I have to update because I just now notice the comment by the owner. Laughable and ridiculous. I have many other reviews of mixed ratings and actual real-live friends on Yelp. This just goes to show how desperately dishonest they are. Check out the other reviews on them as well. Are we all Yelp shills trying to extort money from them? My experience with this company is probably actually going to lead straight to Court.

RUN! Don't walk. RUN as far away as possible from these idiots. Lets start at the beginning. Was set to meet with Frank B. at 8 am. At 9:20 I left. Then I get a phone call that he had car trouble blah blah blah. Offers to camera my line for free. So I get there at 8 am the next day and he is there. Without putting a camera in the line, Frank tells me we should burst the pipe. I have a disjointed pipe under the street. He offers the pipe bursting and completely lies to me about how it is done. Tells me that the work will be done by next Thursday because he has to pull permits and get the okay from dig alert. I go home, after signing the contract, and find out he has nothing but bad reviews on yelp. I become extremely worried, but it was a lot of money so I hoped he would do the job right. I call Victorville on Monday afternoon and ask if permits were pulled. I'm informed that they were not pulled and it takes the inspector roughly 48 hours to issue an engineering permit, which he will need to dig in the street. Call Frank and ask him why he hasn't pulled permits yet. He said he had to wait till he got the okay from dig alert and they have 72 hours. He will go on Wednesday to pull permits and that they are issued in 10 min. Call Frank Thursday to find out what time he was going to be at the rental property to do the work, he tells me that they haven't pulled permits and that he told me they weren't going to pull them till that day and do the work on Friday. I tell him no he told me today. He again says he never said that. Whatever, I just need the job done asap. There is a hole in the front of the yard that is filling up with water and the water is backing up into the house. He said he will call me once his son pulls permits that day. At 3:30 I call Victorville permits again and they inform me permits were pulled but just building and safety. NOT engineering. Frank calls me at 4:30 and says that they pulled the permits and that he will be there at 7, but because we have the hole in the yard we need permits. He says he can still do the work without it, but I will need them. I said just do the work I'll get the permits on Monday. I get a call from his receptionist at 8 the next morning. She told me she spoke with the owners and they decided that the job was too hard for them so they are going to cancel the job and just refund me my money. After a whole freaking week of absolutely EVERYTHING being the same it's too hard for him. And the POS doesn't even call me himself to apologize. Now after wasting a whole week of my time I have to hire another company to do the work and they again have to wait for dig alert and pull permits. I was lucky and got my money back. Do not do any business with these idiots. All they care about is the money. And if they have to do work, forget about it.
