I called about a leak under my sink. Paul and his son arrived the same afternoon within an hour. Corrected the problem, identified other potential problems from our last contractor, corrected those as well! all under $200.

Prompt, neat, clean, competent and I see why their phone is ringing off the hook!

Will not hire or refer this plumber. I had a simple change of cartridge inside laundry brass faucet on the hot side, and I had already bought the part. Paul Vadnais couldn't get it out with a wrench, didn't try heat, penetrating oil or other methods or tools to break it loose. Asked if he could cut copper and take the faucet back to the shop to remove part, said trip costs would make it more than replacing faucet. Asked what cost would be for new faucet install was told $120 for faucet $80 trip charge. Cost of faucet is 4 times what one can buy it for, but had him replace it anyway. When handed my bill by his son, $252 - I asked why the difference than I was told. Son said, I can ask him. I said nevermind, I just don't plan to use your service again because wasn't able to do the job I requested to begin with. Son's response was ""you won't find a cheaper plumber anywhere"". He didn't even ask what it was I was unsatisfied with. Well, yes I have found a cheaper plumber now and one that also discloses costs and sticks to them. Felt plumber was more eager to do what was easier and make more $$ for him.

I called Paul Vadnais Plumbing this morning to have them come out and and unclog a horribly clogged kitchen sink. They were here within just a couple of hours. He got it unclogged quickly and he was very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone and everyone! The pricing is very reasonable also

I called in the morning and was taken care of completely three hours later. Service is very friendly, professional, and educational. Prices were reasonable as well. I will definitely use again for future plumbing problems!

Top Twin Cities Plumber

A week ago, I called two plumbers for what I thought was a big (for a homeowner) repiping job. The first place I called, based on Yelp reviews, told me it would cost $65 for a quote. The next appointment available was for later in the week. Then I called Paul Vadnais, and he answered. Not a plumbing service that contracts out to a pool of sub-contracting plumbers, I was talking to the actual plumber.

Paul Vadnais tried to fit my appointment in that evening, but it turned out to be the next evening. He listened to my concerns, looked over the pipes, and talked it out with me. He cleared up some Internet mis-information. Then he answered questions from my better half. He spent a moment to diagnose and fix a clothes washer water supply problem. He gave us a rough estimate, recommendations, and didn't charge us for the visit.

He's been in the plumbing business for about 30 years. He is at the top of my list for plumbing work and certainly deserves at least 5 stars.
