Recommended Customer Reviews
I hired Paul to install a dishwasher at my house, he used a saw all to make the opening bigger and with all the reciprocating forces it caused my cabinets to come loose and crack,
He offered no assistance or repair,
Not a guy I would recommend.
Paul showed up in a mask and quickly and efficiently repaired our plumbing problem. We found him to be honest and pleasant to work with.
Got 3 quotes to replace our 1971 gas furnace and water heater. He was the lowest locally, by at least $1000. Did the job in a day and 1/2, even came back on his own time to help us fill out paperwork on a rebate! He called after the install to ensure all was well. New heating system has been in about a month and we have no complaints on the work, heat/hot water work great! We'd use him again in the future
Not a nice man. Charged a Senior Citizen $250. in cash for a 20 minute job and the toilet still isn't right. DO NOT ever use this person..EVER
I needed to replace an expansion tank. He charged me $369 for 15 minutes of work and a part that cost $30.00 at Home Depot. If that isn't stealing, not sure what it's called!! Never use him again, that's for sure.
As a former property manager, I have dealt with a dozen or more plumbers over the years. Keep away from this one, he will end up charging double or even triple the going rate, but without actually being up front about this. His method is that he avoids charging by the hour, ($100.00 per hour or so being acceptable). If you need a faucet leak stopped, he'll quote $100.00 and be done in 15 minutes. If you have a small list of things to do, that is how he will work it, so if you have 3 small things to do, he'll charge $100.00 each or $300.00 and be gone in an hour, causing you to pay $300.00 for an hours labor, when $100.00 or $110.00 is the going rate. If you work hard for your money, keep away from this guy.
Christopher V.I cAlled Paul at 8am in a pinch. He was at my home and completed service by noon. Very reasonable for quick on call service. Would call again in a pinch
He fixed our plumbing (heating) issue, but at an extremely inflated cost (similar issue -- same part but different zone -- later fixed by another plumber at a FRACTION of the cost). I will say he scheduled our work quickly (during normal business hours - not ""emergency"" hours) and it appears to be done well, but I do feel like he overcharged us.
Ray Y.Paul knows how to take advantage of a situation and will capitalize as best he can by over-inflated prices. If he screws up, as he did in our case, he did graciously return and fix the issue at no extra charge. I'll be looking elsewhere in the future but plan on looking before an emergency.
I came home from work and discovered a leaky pipe in the basement. I called Freeman a local plumber. He arrived early was friendly and replaced a 1' section of pipe in less than a half hour...Great! He charged me $375...not so great! I'm not familiar with normal plumbing rates so I asked him what his hourly rate was, he said that he charges by job. I'm all about supporting local businesses but unfortunately I cant afford to use him again. I'll shop around next time, and I'll definitely check Yelp first.
