Janet M.I hired Paul Foukas plumbing to move a pipe so I can put the kitchen sink on the other side of the room. I also had some problems with my radiators that needed to be fixed. They did an excellent job, were very fairly priced and I would definitely hire them again.
Mollie W.It's never ideal to need someone in an emergency but yesterday we woke at 3:30 to find 4.5 inches of water in our entire basement and a non functional sump pump (thanks previous owners!). I frantically called every plumber with a '24 hours' next to their name.
By 6am I had been lead on, and around by 3 different companies. One told me to do it myself (that's helpful) and one had given me an outrageous quote of 575 dollars (that's with me providing the pump). While in Lowes I got a call from Lee (from this company) and he said he could come about 11-12 ish depending on two small jobs before it. He said that quote before was insane it would not cost that much. So we continued to surface pump, shop vac, and bail water in the meantime to try to get the level down as much as we could.
The only part of all of this that would maybeee have made me take a star off (but I won't) was when Lee and his assistant arrived he looked into the basement and goes, 'Oh I don't think I can work in this' which was only a 1/4 inch of water left on the floor. I think he saw the exhausted looks on my husband and my faces (we had been standing in this cold, deeper, water all night) and continued.
He liked my selection of sump pump (thanks) but needed a fitting and some PVC because the one attached was fragile and snapped on him. So they ran to Lowes and grabbed what they needed and we had a working sump pump that basically eliminated the rest of the water in 10 minutes. It's been running about ever minute since then, for almost 24 hours, so that's why we had the flooding in the first place. He charged us 250 which I thought was pretty fair. I'm sure had I not had this done in an emergency situation it would have maybe been a bit less but it again it was emergency, and a Saturday.
See the difference with charging someone out the nose when they're in crisis is that's a one time job. Lee and this company will likely hear from me again for other jobs in the future because they were honest, and fair and didn't take advantage of someone in a tough situation.
This is the most fairly priced and most efficient plumbing company I have ever had in my home. I had a pipe issue in my basement and a few other problems (including toilet and bathtub). Lee and Paul Jr. were the plumbers that came by and when Lee noticed there was a few lights out in the kitchen he fixed them right away with no questions asked!!! No charge. They both seemed to be happy to help me in my time of need. What a great experience. The last couple of times I have had issues in my house I had companies over charge me and the job wasn't even done properly!!! I won't be going to anybody else for plumbing problems... thats for sure!
I was having new counter tops installed and the granite shop finished faster than expected.
They called me with less than 24 hrs to get a plumber to disconnect plumbing and rip out existing sink. I called Paul on a Sunday afternoon and he referred me to Lee. Lee called me back promptly and made a plan to come by early the next morning to get it done. The job was not easy since the current sink was cemented into the existing counter top. Lee and Scott both stay committed and managed to remove the sink after having to chop it in half to remove it. They also came back early the next morning after the granite had been installed and hooked up the new faucet, sink and garbage disposal. On his way out the door, I showed Lee a problem with a back storm door off its hinges and he also fixed that for me. Highly recommend and would use them again in a heart beat.
I Had an issue with my hot water heater and needed a replacement as well as vent work since the vent was not correct and was burning from the exhaust of the water heater. I googled Plumbers near me and saw Paul's page. I called left a message and was called back the next day. We had several back and forth conversations which lead to Lee and Scott (Paul's Associates) coming to my home to look at the issue. Paul showed up a few minutes later and mentioned how he had never seen an issue like mine. Shortly after, all three guys left. Lee called a few moments later and quoted me $2,900! I agreed to have the work done since A: There was a fire hazard B: There was a carbon monoxide hazard and C: the hot water heater was shutting off on me. Soooooo after a bit of looking around (sticker price set in) I contacted Lee and told him to hold off on the water heater replacement.
I ultimately decided to go with another plumber who not only came on a Saturday to check out my issue, but charged me $1100 less, yes I said LESS than Paul Foukas did. The job was completed in about two hours and I now have a nice industrial water heater installed and saved myself $1100 dollars!
This is my first home and my first major home repair. Do yourself a favor and get a few estimates. If you want the info of who I used, contact me here in yelp. I'll be happy to share.
Roy T.My Hot Water Heater gave out and filled my basement with water. Contacted Lee by phone off of the website. They showed up within a couple of hours and completed the job quickly. They used quality parts and did a very professional job. I'd be quite happy to use their services again in the future.
Recommend to everyone in need of plumbing assistance.
Rann B.I called because a person who I don't think was a certified plumber told me I needed a $2,000-$4,000 repair. And I didn't trust him because once a broken drain was removed , I had no problems. I called this Co and the owner, Paul, was so helpful and saved me a lot of money and stress! Will def call if I have any plumbing problems in future.
We had major issues with our sewer line and downstairs toilet. We called Paul after having a clog removed by a local drain cleaning company to fix the pipe that had burst. Paul scheduled us that day, and when his initial work didn't alleviate the problem, he came back almost immediately. In fact, he came a total of four times and wouldn't rest until the problem was solved. It ended with him replacing the toilet, quickly and efficiently. He treated me with respect, yet got right to the point and was willing to work with me to identify the problem. He was beyond reasonable when it came to pricing. I am so grateful to Paul for his dedication to me as a customer in this matter!
Adriana O.My bath sink broke , as I dropped a glass container from the above . I called Paul and he scheduled me immediately. He arrived when he said he will and he did the replacement in no time! Thank you for such a great job and for your professionalism! Highly recommended.
Unfortunately, I can't review based on service as the when I spoke to Paul he hung up on me. This is my first time needing a plumber so I mentioned what the job is and asked what the process is- is there a quote, based on description does he have an idea of cost, how does it work- turns out ""he wouldn't give a quote for that job and wouldn't take the job because its not worth it, call someone else"" and hung up...maybe a reference of a colleague that does smaller jobs, or a recommendation of what might need to be looked at considering it clearly isn't worthy of a plumber, maybe even, thanks for calling or goodbye would be satisfactory, but hanging up on me mid question, not impressed.
