Do not use this plumber. The owner, Paul, charged an elderly couple $520 to install a dishwasher. Two weeks later the dishwasher leaked and caused $12,000 in damage to the home. He was unhelpful to say the least and blamed the homeowners for the damage. He is unethical but tries to portray himself as a good guy. Find another plumber!

Paul Brown Plumbing did the plumbing for the contractor who built our house. In the first year, we had numerous plumbing failures, that resulted in drywall damage. Luckily the home was still under warranty so the builder was required to fix everything. However, we have had regular issues ever since. We have been lucky enough for these problems to be minor and relatively easy to fix. However, we have recently found that they did not properly seal around the faucet spout, and the water has been running behind the tub and into the wall when the shower is being used. We are just now seeing the evidence of this from a water spot on the ceiling. We have hired a competent plumber to come and fix everything that Paul Brown Plumbing has completely screwed up. I would recommend staying far, far away from this company, unless you like watching your money go down the drain... or in this case, missing it altogether.

The office clerk said the faucet must have worked before the plumber left, although she was not there to witness it actually working. I was told that I would have to pay another fee for the plumber to come back out. PROBLEM; The faucet was connected to the well, 'the plumber' turned the well circuit breaker off, no repairs were ever made to the faucet and the plumbing. The problem was fixed by a better plumbing company.

We needed a cartridge changed in our bathroom shower handle. We used this plumbing company because we intended on using them for a complete bathroom overhaul and thought they would be fair. The entire job took a total of 12 minutes(I shut off and on the water supply) I asked the technician several times before starting the job what the estimate would be. He avoided the question and started the job when I tended to a phone call in another room. When I returned he had the part off and said he didn't have the piece(later found cost $29.98 at The Home Depot. When he returned he finally called his boss and told me it would be $150-$180. I thought it was high but needed the job done so i reluctantly gave in. I was later billed $180. When I went to pay bill at the business and complained. The receptionist was rude and non caring. When I mentioned that they lost a $17,500 job over this $30 price discrepancy, she stated ""That's what we charge!"" When the owner Paul was at my house weeks before looking at my bathroom for overhaul he seemed like a nice guy and knowledgeable,but needs to teach his techs and receptionists to not be so sneaky and give estimates PRIOR to starting work.
