★★☆☆☆

The technician was very polite, and did a good job. He had to come back the next day to fix a kinked line that was not tested after installation, but he did so, no big deal.

The pricing, and the explanation for the pricing, is outrageous. He came to fix all 3 of the faucets in my home the day after new countertops were installed, so I had no faucets with 3 kids at home when they came to the door. Research indicated they were a good company, so we scheduled to have them come out to do the faucets. None of these plumbing companies will give firm pricing info over the phone, so I wasn't able to get any quotes before the day they got there. We purchased all of the faucets ourselves, any parts they may have used were very minimal/cheap. He charged ~$250 for one bathroom, ~$350 for another, just for faucet installation. This felt steep, but wasn't the main problem.

To install a new garbage disposal and kitchen faucet, they charged me ~$1100. They don't give any explanation for this price, or which parts of the task make it that expensive. I asked if there were any complications to the job, he said not really. I ask what they charge per hour for labor, he said it doesn't work that way.

I called two other local plumbers to discuss the price. While they wouldn't give me firm pricing either, they had me crawl around the job and explain it thoroughly, and both said the rate seemed at least $400 high in any situation. I called to discuss with the owner (Linda), saying I just wanted to have a conversation about which aspects of this job made it that expensive and to review the invoice for any mistakes he may have made (I promise I was not combative or rude), and she basically kept repeating that I signed for it, and that they don't give any real explanation for pricing. She said they're ""flat rate"", so I asked what was the ""flat rate"" for each specific task that they used to build this price, and she could not answer. Was it the garbage disposal? The dishwasher line? The faucet? How much was each? How could I have saved any of the money? When I install my kitchenette downstairs, which of these tasks should I focus on doing myself to save money here? No answer.

They punch a list of tasks in and it spits out how long it will take, and use that time to somehow come up with a price even though they say it's not based on time. If it was, this would have been like $650/hr. Time to become a plumber.

Happy with the service, disappointed with the cost, disappointed with the short, rude response from the owner. She's clearly used to this complaint, which is telling. She even felt it necessary to add that she and some of the senior techs thought he was ""a bit low""...?? Just a really strong air of ""we got you, there's nothing you can do about it, we don't need you anyways, later."" Really unfortunate, because they really do seem like a great company otherwise.

To All people out there in a need of plumbing work done -- never ever, under no circumstances hire this company! They are not honest. Bids are overpriced beyond any reason.
I had them come to bid for a gas line run to the kitchen for a future stove.
I also was updating dishwasher, and since the guy was there already, I asked for an installation. To my shock, the bid was for a $777.98 (discounted from $827.98) plus tax. Please note, this was even without prior DW disconnect and haul away. Unbelievable!!!
The rest of the bid could not be considered, based on a price of DW installation fees. This company is a fake. I feel robbed of my time, and ""dispatch fees"" they charge for this BS show.

I live in Renton, but we know Alex from church, so I made an appointment for him to come by and look at our sink. Our hot water has had low pressure in there since we moved in a few years ago. Alex was prompt and clean. He wore shoe booties (or whatever they're called...those things you can slip over your shoes so you don't track dirt in) and got right to work. He showed me what the problem was: we have old steel pipes and one part had almost completely rusted through, to the point of not letting much water through. When he was done, I also mentioned another problem that we'd had with our other sink being prone to plugging, and he said he could fix that really quickly (and he did). When he was doing the write up at my table, we converse about our two kids, who are close in age It was lovely! He also mentioned that since our house is so old, we'll probably have to replace all the steel pipes in the house someday because the same rust problem will keep happening. I asked him how much something like that might cost, and he said about $4000. Even though that's a big number, I'm happy to know it so we can start saving for it. I'll definitely be calling for Alex to come out once were ready to do that.

I have used Pat's Plumbing and I could not give a higher recommendation. Eric came out and looked at a sewer backup and they had a bid ready the next morningbto dig up and replace the sewer line. Outstanding local owned company. Fair and do great work. Even got the necessary permits for the job! Highly recommended!!

Estimate was 1500 dollars more than the next highest estimate I had received to replace my hot water heater - no cost breakdown on the estimate - any other plumbers I dealt with for this situation were preferable - please don't give them your business without at least checking with another plumber - peace

Amazingly helpful and so thorough. We remodeled 3 bathrooms and everyone at Pats was great! There was a lot of coordinating that needed to happen so that we always had a bathroom. Alex and crew were fantastic! Highly recommend them!

They came out to fix a mistake that I did. He came out within the time frame promised and finished the job. He was friendly and helpful with answers to my questions. I thought it was a bit expensive, but it was done in a timely matter and was guaranteed.

The employee never gave me a quote up front then tried to charge me $225 after working for less than 40 minutes and failing to find my septic tank clean out cover. The guy gave up after 30 minutes or so and offered to snake the pipe from my bathroom by removing my toilet for $700 instead. He never even offered to keep digging. Outrageous. Then, when I tried to discuss this with the owner she was incredibly rude and argumentative. After ignoring me for a week she finally sent me a letter offering $75 if I would promise not to ever post a negative review. I told her to keep the $75 and I will try to save others from her dishonest business practices.

I just had Pat's out to bid a job. My dishwasher was drawing cold water, so I needed a valve to be switched to my hot water tap. I paid the service fee, but the bid was nearly $500. I felt like this was unreasonably high for installation of a stock part on a tap. Additionally, the plumber was not able to tell me how much of that cost was for the actual part (I'm thinking $10, tops). This nonsense gives plumbers a bad name.

UPDATE: So my dad came out and fixed my issue. The part he needed cost $3.27. That plus three inches of Teflon tape and the five minutes he spent completing the fix earned him breakfast. I stand by my review.

Absolutely the best service! They installed a gas line and water line, worked very fast, cleaned up their mess and came back when the inspector came to set the pressure guage, then came back that evening and helped set up my stove all for no extra charge! Alex was great to work with!
